He brought the tray out of the kitchen and to the alpha, "You can pay for the price of one, sinse you didn't really know what you were getting!" Kouyo smiled at the taller man as he handed him the tray.
Hisa looked down at them and sniffed, "Mm~ they smell good!" The alpha wanted to say, 'so do you' but the words wouldn't come out.
It'd probably scare him away. Even though he didn't say this to the omega, he didn't not mean it. Hisa adored his minty warm scent just as much, like spare-mint to be specific. Kouyo typed some things into the cash register as Riley went back into the kitchen. "Thank you!" The omega smiled as he pulled out a pen and bill, "When you take home more that one at a time, you have to sign a bill." He said handing the pen and bill up to the taller man.
The alpha started to sign his name when he stopped and said to the omega, "The pen doesn't work." Kou shot him a confused look, "Uh,, yea it does, I just used it like two seconds ago..?" Hisa smirked, letting his alpha side take over as he said, "Oh yea well prove it by writing your phone number right here." (I got this pickup line from a YouTube video, don't judge lol) He pointed to a receipt that someone else left sitting on the counter.
Kou looked down, extremely flustered, before grabbing the pen out of his hands and writing down his number. He held the pen up towards the alpha, still looking down as he mumbled, "S-see,, works perfectly f-fine.." Hisa laughed at the smaller boy's behavior before grabbing the piece of paper and shoving it in his back pocket.
He took the pen from the omega and signed the bill, handing it back to him. Kou typed some things into the register before handing the alpha his change, "Thanks for all this, Kou." Hisa said with a soft smile.
"Of course! Come back, or call anytime!" Kouyo responded with a smile back.
"Well I'm going to get going. See ya later!" Hisa said slightly waving, trying his best to hold on to the tray.
"Bye!" The omega gave him a closed-eyed smile while waving.
The alpha left, the day went on, everything was fine. Kou put all his winter clothes back on and started walking home. The omega's walk home was average, nothing bad, nothing good. As Kou approuched his door he could already hear Vixen on the other side, meowing from the excitement of his owner's arrival. The boy smiled softly and unlocked the door, entering the house. The kitten, once again, pounced onto him and purred happily. "Oh boy, did you really miss me that much?" Kou asked, leaning down to pet him.
After a few seconds of Kou snuggling the cat, he set Vixen down and went to put on sleeping clothes. Kou put on a pair of Adidas sweatpants and a light blue shirt. He layed on his couch and turned on the TV. He was watching 'The Office' when suddenly his flip phone rang.
