Sally's point of view

~~~~~
It was officially the last day of school. We were talking about our summer plans. We're going to the Creekview Mountain Lodge for the whole summer.
"This is gonna be the best vacation ever. No annoying little brothers ruining my privacy." Ash said.
"No homework," I added.
"And no chores." Added Todd.
"And most importantly..." Larry said. "No Travis for 3 months!" He threw his hands up in the air.
Everyone started laughing with him, except me. I glanced away from the group. Larry noticed.
"Hey dude, you alright?" I looked up when it went quiet, realizing they were all staring at me.
"W-Well, I kind of... Uhm... I kinda sorta invited Travis to come on the trip with us. And he said yes." I stuttered. They just stared at me for a moment before shouting things all at the same time.
A sudden tap on my shoulder made everyone stop and look behind me. I turned to see the one and only Travis. "Hey.. Sally Face."
"Hey, Travis," I said calmly. Okay, it reality I was freaking out on the inside, but they didn't know that.
He rubbed his arm as a faint blush crept up to his cheeks. "I just wanted to thank you for letting me come on this trip—" Larry coughed, hiding the "And not telling us" that came out. Travis glared at Larry as he continued, "—since I don't get out too often."
"It's no problem. Though we're probably  going to be talking about ghosts the whole way to the lodge." I chuckled. He smirked just the slightest.
"Well, I'm going to go pack now. I'll see you in an hour?" He asks. I nod, and he starts walking in the other direction.
"He seems nice." A high pitched voice says from behind me. I jump and cling to Larry. He chortled and pried me off him. "Relax, it's just Megan, dude." I sigh in relief but my eyes widen in realization. "Wait a minute. Megan?!  How are you here, and why are you in public where everyone can see you?!" I shout, grasping onto the ghost's shoulders, crouching at her eye level.
"Ask Toddie." She said pointedly at the redhead. I look at him, still crouched. He pushed his glasses up before speaking. "I improved Megan's necklace to be a type of 'ghost GPS', so we know where she is at all times, even when she's in the ghost world." He explained.
"Cool," Larry commented. Todd nodded. "It is indeed, 'cool'. The necklace even lets Megan stay in our world and be able to walk around and do stuff we can do."
"Wait, can I touch things then?" Megan asked, excited. Todd nodded. She then put her hand in the nearest bush. A matter of seconds passed before the girl's face twisted into something the looked like horror. "It feels... Spiky. I don't like it." Megan then took her hand from the bush and shook it out.
"I have enough parts to do another device. Does anyone want anything to be a ghost GPS?" Todd asked. Larry raised his hand. "I've got a necklace you could fix up with it. Here." He pulled out a necklace out from his pants pocket and handed it to Todd.
"So, are we going to go pack or what?" Ash asked. "Yeah, let's meet up in 50 minutes, so we can wait for Travis then," I said looking at the group. "Ready, get set... RUN!" I shouted, seeing a dog behind me, I started to run towards the Addison Apartments as fast as I could. I heard Larry chuckle behind me, and the 'pitter-patter' of feet chasing me.
~~~~~

As we waited for Travis and Ash to get to the apartment, Larry talked with me as Todd fixed up the necklace as Megan helped him. As we talked, the clinking of tools was heard from behind us.

Ash soon ran up to us, a large bag slung over her shoulder. "Sorry, I'm late!" She said, panting, her hands on her knees.

"It's fine. Travis isn't here yet." I said, putting a hand on her shoulder. I turned to say something to Larry, but he was staring at something in the distance. "Speak of the devil." He muttered.

Everyone turned to look at the thing he was looking at. I heard a noise behind me and turned around, just to be attacked by Travis. Okay, not attacked, but he came straight at me and we both toppled to the ground.

Once we both got up he took me by the shoulders and hugged me. "I'm so so so sorry, Sal. I really did not mean to ram into you. I was just running to get here and—" He started rambling before he realized what he was doing and pulled away. "S-Sorry."

"I-It's fine, Travis. It's fine." I'm so glad nobody could see my blush behind the prosthetic. "Well, we should probably get going now if we want to get to the lodge by tomorrow afternoon."

"Right..." Larry dragged out the word, still glaring at the blond next to me. I crossed my arms and turned to face the boy completely. "Larry, look at me." He obeyed and shifted his eyes to lock with mine. One look at my eyes told him to stop. He nodded and turned towards Lisa's van that she let us borrow for the trip. She's so nice, I can't believe she would trust 5 teenagers and a child to--

"Hey, it's that guy again!" Megan exclaimed, pointing at Travis excitedly. The blond froze in place, eyes wide. It was silent besides a very quiet snicker from Ash. "...Why does that child look, oh I don't know...nonliving? Possibly dead?" Travis questioned as he scratched the back of his neck. Megan stepped over Todd's tools and walked up to Travis. He had a shocked yet scared look on his face as his eyes followed the ghost's movements.

She finally got to him after a moment. The next thing that happened surprised us all: Megan hugged Travis...
