Too Close

I glance at you,
As my heart fills with longing,
As I lace your fingers in mine,
The world is so odd,
I feel like I'm going crazy,
I can't do this anymore,
I shouldn't do this,
What's wrong with me,
I'm not alone anymore but I still search,
I need to stop,
I don't want to be hurt anymore,
That's happened to me all my life,
I don't want to hurt anyone,
Because I know how it feels,
All to feel.
