Death

Yue wasn't able to stop her tears when she saw her friend lying on the bed, unmoving. He was so pale it was as if his blood has been sucked out.

"You have to bite him, Yue. Luna's venom is a poison to him. One more minute late and we could no longer save him!"

She was shaking as she approached Kuan.

George was now angry.

"He will die if you continue staring at him. Bite him and you may be able to save him!"

He was taken aback when he saw that his daughter looked like a ghost, too.

Of all the times she could be sick, it has to be now.

Great.

But Yue could still counter the poison.

"Bite him!"

The panic in her old man's voice made her move fast to Kuan.

She has never bitten a human before but if she could save her friend, how could she not do it?

She pulled one more pillow to elevate his head. The faster she could reach his heart, the higher his chances of survival would be.

She held his face as she gently lowers her lips to his throat.

She could smell the sweetness of his blood.

Almost frozen, but she could still feel the almost, non-existing pulse point below his Adam's apple.

Her fangs sliced thru the delicate skin and came in contact with one of his veins.

Her venom has now entered his blood stream.

There was no initial blood flow from the pricks she made but she waited patiently.

She has her eyes closed as she tried to stay focused with her current task at hand.

But she felt as if the room was spinning.

But Kuan needed her.

Her bones were aching and her throat was on fire but she couldn't think about herself at this moment.

"Bite his wrist!"

Ah, yes. She has to work double-time.

Her fangs aimed for where his pulse points should be.

She then felt from where she was seated just as how cold his legs were.

"Papa! He's already starting to crystallize!"

Fear swelled into her heart.

Kuan was quite close to her.

Among the boys, Kuan was her safe haven.

While Dylan was the storm she has to run away from.

What a sad story it would be if Kuan will not make it.

No!

He considers her as his friend. And what kind of a friend is she if she wouldn't be able to do anything to help him right now?

There's one more way to have her venom inside him.

She lowered her head to his face.

And kissed him.

A small opening of his mouth was enough.

George was surprised to see the bold move of his eldest but he knows Yue has only but pure intentions to the unconscious young man.
