A month after the Kishin has been defeated

3rd Person POV

A month who disquised himself as a week passed by after Aura, the kishin that hibernated under the DWMA, received an invitation of defeat from Maka Albern.

Several changes, one after another, have been made including Maka's feeling.

Maka's POV

Today's Valentine's Day.

The day I hate the most.

I despite the looks the girls throw at Soul then the ones they throw at me.

Soul doesn't seem to notice though.

He's been sorta off.

3rd Person POV

Maka strolled up to her locker and with a surprise a snow white rose fell gracefully to the ground.

Maka picked it up and she silently read the note.

She grinned and went to class.

All through class Maka's mind filled with thoughts of who her secret admirer could be.

As the bell blasted its signals of release, Maka walked home to get ready.

The Bookworm rummaged through her neatly organized closet until she found a sapphire blue dress.

Maka had recently received the dress from her mother through post office.

She delicately lifted it up while looking at the mirror.

She quietly murmured the words 'prepare yourself.'

Maka left the comforts of her home towards the park.

The sky arrived at the point where you could confuse it between sunrise and sunset.

The setting was simply perfect.

Maka sat at the bench where her admirer had set plans for her.

The Meister waited until she heard giggling from the forest-green trees.

She confusingly turned her head until the mysterious giggles were revealed.

There stood two girls who attended DMWA with Maka.

They weren't giggling at the boy who fell off the monkey bars; they were giggling at her.

Laughing at her because she actually had faith in this secret admirer.

Frustrated, Maka stood up from the bench and angrily stomped over there.

Her bangs lay over her eyes.

Her hand raised, and swung down with all of her strength towards one of the girl's cheek.

Maka calmly strolled off.

She looked at the sky and payed attention to nothing else but the sky; she wasn't even aware that tears broke free from her eyes.

She continued walking until she crashed into someone.

"Sorry," Maka mumbled, no expression showing upon her face.

Maka continued to walk but before she could reach her leg out to proceed another step, she heard a familiar voice.

"Hey Maka, .. what's wrong?"

She quickly dried off her tears and looked at the worried Weapon.

"Did someone do something to you?" he transformed his arm into a scythe to show his seriousness.

Maka shook her head,"It's just some stupid girl drama,"she confirmed reassuringly.

Soul looked at her face and then at the sky.

By instinct, he grabbed her hand and they continued to walk.

"Maka,"Soul stated.

"Yes?"Maka replied.

"Sorry for running late on you, but I was the secret admirer,"Soul softly spoke.

Maka stopped walking and Soul turned around.

She hugged him as if it would be the last hug she would receive.

"Soul?"Maka mumbled.

"Hm?"Soul questioningly said.

"Will you be my Valentine?"the Meister asked.

Soul nodded and gently pressed his lips on her forehead.

They continued their way to their home hand-in-hand.

I've been meaning to remove this one sentence, but I refuse to say which because then I'll have to give you a speech about how mistakenly dumb I am. :)
