3 - Late Night Grocery Shopping

You push the shopping cart with two men trail behind you. "Remind me why we are doing this?" You said, letting out a yawn. The air conditioner from the supermarket gave you a slight chill. You're glad that you wore a hoodie.

Dio was reading the list that he and Giorno made. "Food is getting less in the kitchen and we both know that you adore food so very much." Giorno said, as he pat your shoulder.

Sure you love food but having a late grocery shopping was unexpected. Including Dio who suddenly joined in. "I know and you all know that I've been busy with my assignments and finals. I thought the both of you would do that. Doing grocery shopping." You kept pushing the shopping cart, looking around at the food that was in the shelves.

Dio starts to take the food that was on the list and place it in the shopping cart. "Besides, Giorno and I have been aiding you in your finances, little one." You raised an eyebrow at him.

"Finances?" You repeated the word that Dio said. You grab a bag of chips and place it in the cart. "What did you boys do?" Eyeing them with an intent gaze.

Giorno shrugged. "We've help you to pay the bills since father and I are staying in your apartment." He went to another shelf and inspect it. "I'm surprise you are paying it than your parents."

You place the cart there, earning a look from Dio and Giorno. "My parents are pricks. Always want to best for me and they expect that I can handle anything." You went up to Dio and read the list.

Humming, you let the two male to watch over the cart or drive it around. "But I can't handle anything." Not even two fictional characters. You sighed to yourself and went on to finish the list.

When you head over to the dairy section, you saw Dio standing next to you. "Yes?" The tall male pat your head. Totally out of character from him.

"Apologies little one."

"Its... its fine, Dio." You grabbed the carton of milk. "Enough of this and let's finish this. I have a game to complete."

Dio mused internally to himself, what an interesting woman you are. Has he become soft in the vicinity of you and his son? Has he forgotten that he has thrown away his humanity?

Maybe he did become soft.

For once... he was glad that he has a second chance than being dead by Jotaro.

"Dio." You're voice cause him to look at you with a confused look. "Giorno's done. Let's meet him at the cashier."

He chuckled to himself and approached you. "Let's meet Giorno at the cashier."
