7 - Family

Ever since that night of almost getting killed by an assassin, Dio and Giorno are getting protective over you whenever you head out from the apartment. Giorno would linger in your university campus, so that the assassin does not create any moves in harming you. He would accompany you whenever you walk around the city.

As for Dio, he would stay in your room when you are sleeping. He does went out to grab a few pints of blood before entering your room. When Dio is out from the apartment, Giorno would stay with you. Both of them truly cares about you and your safety. They know that you do not have a Stand. If you're staying a few more hours at the campus and it reach nighttime, Dio will be there. He will scout around the place for any unusual individuals.

"Guys... I appreciate the protection and the bodyguard but have you notice the three of us looks like a family." You are with Dio and Giorno at one of your favourite cafe. The sun has set and it was ideal for Dio to come out from the apartment, to meet up with you and Giorno after you had a meeting with your group for a group assignment. 

Giorno was sipping his latte. "How does that work?" He said, placing the cup on the saucer. "Looking like a family, tesoro." 

"Uhh..." You started, your hands are wrapped around the parfait cup. It was cold to the touch and you ordered your favourite parfait. "Dio is taller than you and I. Technically he's your dad but others thought that I am your mother and you're my son. Whenever we walk around, I hear others commenting on that we look like a happy family." You explained to them. Dio lets out a hum. 

He was resting his chin on his knuckles, eyes staring at you. "It does make sense." 

"It-it does?!" Your grip around the cup tightened. Giorno had think about it and nod as well, agreeing with Dio. 

"We do look like a family." The teen shifted his gaze from the beverage towards you, he gave you a soft smile. "I honestly don't mind. When word find out about father and I, they will target us and we can defeat them with ease." So... it's a strategy to lure the assassins out? That's kinda sad, you noted as you take a bite of your parfait. 

Dio was still staring at you. "Then we'll have to buy a ring, to show that you are taken. I dislike seeing other people talking to with devious intent in their eyes." His eyes takes a short glance at the ring finger on your left hand. "Giorno and I will purchase the ring. Do not fret, our Stands will be your bodyguard." 

Speaking about Stands, The World and Gold Experience are standing on your left and right side. They wanted to protect you from harm and danger. If anything goes awry, they might blame themselves for not doing a great job on protecting you. 

"That's reassuring to hear." You already know how they look like but you low-key wanted to see them in real life. To touch them, to feel their warmth and hear their voice. 

"It is." Giorno had turn a napkin into a red rose. He then place the flower on top of your left ear. "Our Stands are strong." You watched in awe on how Giorno did that. It still mesmerise you whenever he does that. It never gets old to see it in action. 

From an outsider perspective, the three of you does look like a family. Dio as the father, you as the mother and Giorno as the child. If others see you with Dio, they'll think that he is your boyfriend. Same goes to Giorno if you walk without Dio, not that he is your boyfriend but as guy-friend. His age makes sense due to your age, for you are older than him. He respected his elders and you are happy to see him helping the elderly. 

Both Stand Users will not openly say their Stands abilities in public. Who knows if someone is hearing their conversation and is currently recording it as well. Dio and Giorno have to be cautious when they are out in public with you. They have encounter enemy Stands, Jotaro Kujo and his daughter. They will never know if they will encounter others from other Parts of the manga, anime and/or game. 

"When are you going to buy the ring, Dio?" You asked the Vampire. "Do you have enough money to purchase it?" You asked again, taking another bite of the parfait and munch happily. 

The blonde Vampire replied both of your questions,  "Tomorrow evening and yes, little one. I do have enough money to purchase it. Do not worry, for I, Dio, will obtained it." 

There he is, that Dio you missed. "Alrighty, after this, we are heading back home." You call for the waiter or waitress, to ask for the check. 

"Sounds wonderful, tesoro."
