Jack and the beanstalk 2

Chapter 3

Whilst Jack was becoming famous and going to cool parties his mom, Isabel, was becoming famous in her own way. Soon after being a main character in ‘Jack And The Beanstalk’ she was asked to star in TV programs, movies and even write autographs!

“I wonder what little Jack is doing now?” muttered Jack’s Mom silently. She travelled over to the front door where she found a pile of letters! Who are these for?  she thought looking at them. They were mostly for Jack and some for her too. “ Fan mail, for Jack?” she spoke in shock. She placed Jack’s letters on the coffee table and opened her letters. “WOW! I have fans!?” she gasped she never knew she would have fans! As she opened the next envelope her lit up with joy. “What!? I have been asked to be in another TV show!?”. She had never been so happy in her life!

The next morning, it was bright and cheerful and the sun was high in the sky. “Oooooh! Its my audition today!” she reminded herself. “10:30 am!? Ain’t nobody got time for that!”. It was early but she new she had to go as it was part of her life-long dream.

It was 10:30 am and Jack’s Mom was ready and waiting at the hall in London. “ Isabel?”said the audition man in a loud voice. “Just through that door, good luck!”

“Thankyou!” replied Jack’s Mom and off she went into the audition room.

In the room it was hot and making Jack’s Mom nervous but she had improved since she had practiced at home so that was great. First, they asked her name and age before telling her to perform her audition. Isabel (Jacks Mom) came out of the hall feeling nervous but excited. Would she get the part? Who knows? She will just have to wait.

Three weeks later a letter came through the post with her name on it. It was from the TV program auditions with the results. It read:

Dear Isabel,

I am happy you auditioned for our newest TV program and am glad to tell you that you got through. Come to the same hall next Tuesday. Thankyou.

She was really relieved she got through couldnt wait for Tuesday. Would she get through to making the actual program? Who would she play? You will have to read on and find out...
