Washington's POV

I am on my way to Boston to meet the troops. Comet reers up and I calm him down, although he doesn't listen. I calm Comet down once more and  I say to Comet, "What's wrong boy?" I pet him on his neck. It's soft and fuzzy. I get off of him to investigate. Of course, I tie him to a nearby tree. While checking out to see why he was scared, I see a little girl, all alone. The girl looked similar to me and my wife, Martha. Her eyes were a soft shade of blue-grey, with skin fair as the clouds, and had three scars over her right eye. She opens her eyes and I  see her right eye isn't in good condition. She smiles at me, almost like she's used to those savage, merciless cuts. I  look to her. Tears stream down her face like the rain. She claws onto her arm, clearly stressed. "Excuse me?"  I ask in a concerned tone. "Can I look at your arm? You seem very hurt from what happened to you."  She nods after I check on her arm. It as well had scratches and marks that seemed very, very worn out. I still can't get the feeling I know this girl from somewhere, but I can't remember where, though. Strange, I thought. Very strange... "Pardon me, miss," I stutter, "but do you have parents who are worried about your safety?". I put her on Comet, and untie him. She smiles again, this time, looking concerned.

Maya's POV
" I-I can't remember, Sir..." I say as he puts me up on his horse I think I might know him from somewhere, but I can't. Then I remember something. I-It's the past?!  Or did I just hit my head?! What the heck? How is this even possible?! I was just with my brother and everyone else in my mom and dad's room when my father passed. Oh, but why am I here?! How did I even get here?! I guess I'll have to do the job I have in the future, which is protecting the, well, now future president at all costs. I might be his daughter, but he doesn't know that yet! Right?! Or am I wrong?! He's looking at me, oh crap no! I feel my cheeks, and they are wet. I'm crying again. I must really miss him because I do. I miss my dad. I'm here in the past, but why though? I'll have to find out on my own, or with Da- I mean, General Washington. He grabs the reins and leads Comet. I hear something behind us. I look behind me then at General Washington. I grab the reins and his hand and pull him up onto Comet. I make Comet run as fast as he possibly can, and we ride back to the camp. Trying to get away from what was chasing us. we get to where we are needed to be  and I let General Washington do what he has to do as I get into a spare uniform he gave me, I walk outside the tent we are sharing for now and he looks at me and smiles, I smile and nod softly, he gives me a slight nod  as I grab my gun and staff and head to a nearby field and he watches me train, he watches my every move

Washington's POV

As I watch her train I feel like I know her but later on in the future but I can't place it, I don't know maybe it's because I miss my wife? She looks a lot like the two of us. I smile as I see her run towards the tree and back flips off of it. I'm impressed now, Hamilton walks up and stands beside me and asks " who is she  general?"  " I-I don't know son, but I get the feeling that I know her..." I say as we both watch her train and as Alexander nods. I look into her eyes  as she falls, I look over at Alexander and he nods as she tries to get up but she can't, I jump over the fence and run across the field to her she has tears in her eyes I look at her then to her right foot as she grabs it clearly in pain and as her tears turn into a waterfall of sadness. I pick her up like I would a toddler and set her under the tree she had back-flipped off of, I sit with her under the tree as she looks at me now and mumbles to where I can hear "I landed on my foot the wrong way..."  she says trying to be as strong as she can be but  her tears say she's in pain; I smile and hug her as colonel Hamilton comes with a bandage wrap and kneels down and looks at her foot she groans in pain; I sigh and hug her tightly as Colonel Hamilton wraps her foot, she hugs back calming down

Later that night
Washington's POV
I'm writing a letter to my wife Martha letting her know I got here safely, and found the girl, as soon as I'm done with it, I look at the girl who's sleeping on the extra cot that Alexander had, I look at the girl and she's just tossing and turning I get up and kneel next to the cot and gently grab her right hand and hold it and rub the top of it like a father would his daughter. I still think I know her from somewhere I just can't place it
