Chapter 5: The Decision

Lady: He seems to love you guys already. So, any other dog you'd like to meet?

Keith: Nah, I think we found our pick. What do you think Lance?

Lance: Yeah, I agree.

Lady: Alright. So, which one did you guys like?

Keith: We're gonna go with Diesel. *Smiles* 

Lance: He seems to really love us.

Lady: *Smiles* Good choice. I'll bring him over, but in the meantime, go over to the front desk and fill out a form.

Keith: Thank you so much.

Lady: It's no problem.

Lance: *Walks toward the front desk*

Keith: *Follows Lance*

Narrator, aka me: After paperwork, they get into their car. Lance, barely able to calm down his excitement, has the dog sitting in his lap in the front passenger seat. Keith, very happy that Lance is happy, is driving the car towards the pet store. 

Lance: I can't wait to go home and play fetch, and teach him tricks, and give him lots of treats, and feed him, and bathe him, and-

Keith: I think I've got the idea Lance. *Laughs a bit* You're going to take very good care of him. 

Lance: Yup! Just as much love and care as you have for me!

Keith: *Blushes* Great, thanks a lot. Now i'm gonna go into the store with a red face.

Lance: I was just speaking the truth. *Smirks*

Keith: Yeah, I know you were. That's why I love you. 

Lance: I love you too. 

Keith: We're here by the way. *Parks the car, kisses Lance's cheek, and quickly gets out of the car*

Lance: Keith you little- *Opens car door and walks Diesel over to Keith*

Keith: *Giggles*

Lance: You're such a child! *Laughs*

Keith: Hey! You're just as childish as me! 

Lance: Since when?

Keith: Since ever!

Lance: Mhm, sure Keith. Whatever you need to tell yourself in order for you to sleep at night.

Keith: *Scoffs* Rude.

Lance: *Shrugs shoulders* Let's go Diesel and get you some dog toys!

Keith: Don't change the topic of this conversation.

Lance: Nope. Don't remember, didn't happen. 

Keith: You say that all the time! *Gasps* Do you remember the bonding moment! After all this frikken time! 

Lance: *Looks in the other direction* Maaaayyybee.....

Keith: You little jerk! *Runs into pet store and grabs a cart*

Lance: *Shortly follows after, with Diesel's leash in hand*

Keith: Okay, so we have basically everything checked off.

Lance: Sure, let me see the list.

Keith: Here. *Hands list to Lance*

Lance: *Looks at list*

DOGGY LIST:

Lance: Yeah, I'd say we have everything.

Keith: Told you. *Rolls cart over to the cashier*

Narrator: After they get their dog, Diesel, some supplies, they go home and put all of the supplies away and text everyone on their group chat the news.

GROUP CHAT:

Members: Space-Daddy (Shiro), Pigeon (Pidge), *TheChef *(Hunk), $harp$hooter (Lance), and ~GayMullet~ (Keith)

~GayMullet~: Guys, guess what??

Pigeon: What now?

Space-Daddy: What happened this time?

*TheChef*: Please tell me it's a good thing..

$harp$hooter: Don't worry Hunk. It's an amazing thing.

Pigeon: If this is about what I think it's about, leave me alone.

~GayMullet~: It's not about sex Pidge..

Pigeon: Then what is it?

$harp$hooter: Keith and I got a doggy!!

Space-Daddy: Congrats!

*TheChef*: A dog!! Can I come over?

~GayMullet~: Yeah, you all can come and meet him.

Pigeon: Did you guys give him a name?

$harp$hooter: Well, he's 2, so he already had a name, but we loved his name so we didn't care.

~GayMullet~: His name is Diesel.

Pidgeon: That's literally my favorite dog name now.

*TheChef*: I'm almost over there.

Space-Daddy: Me too.

Pigeon: Dang, you guys are in a hurry. I just left.

$harp$hooter: It's okay. We have all day for meet and greets.

~GayMullet~: Yep.
