his hand is halfway up her black dress
the snake inserts its fangs into the prey
she begs for help
but no one answers
just the flicker of apartment lights and the yelling of drunks
blood and bodily fluids
he finishes her off and leaves her
she lays on the hard, cold floor
senseless
his prey, left in pieces, mind scattered
