I slowed my breathing down in preparation, knowing that if I let my nerves get the better of me that I would lose myself in what I was about to do. I smoothed my thumb over the disc in my hand, closing my eyes to focus on my sense of touch and the smoothness of the detonator to the bomb I was. I slowly peeled my eyes open, letting out one last breath before pressing the button on the disc. My collar opened with a hiss, clattering to the ground at my feet.
For a second I felt a bliss peace, before my fire raised from the depths of my inner self. My mouth fell open in a silent scream, my head instantly thrown back as intense, catastrophic fire poured forth from my skin. I felt as if I were being blown apart, as I blew the laboratory to the next century.
Cullen.
"Holy shit." I gasped in the icy air from the hillside Fillan, Kenzie, Callum, Sinead, Fiona and Alana and I stood upon.
A fireball apparent to that of a near nuclear bomb had consumed the laboratory in intense fire as it exploding from within.
"I have never felt as much of a lesser twin as I do now." Fillan bled out into the snow beneath him, his humour unaffected.
"We should all feel lesser." Kenzie stood a little further away from our group, her voice painfully disembodied.
"She's not stopping." Alana observed as each explosion grew bigger than the next, not only turning the building to dust but also the surrounding tree line and evaporating the snow beneath.
I took a step back as wave of heat swept up the side of the hill we were on, making my eyes water.
"Get back now!" Alana shouted just in time.
We stumbled down the other side of the hill as a tsunami-like torrent of fire licked it's way up the side of the hill and high into the zenith above.
I lost my footing on a root and tumbled the rest of the way down the hill, thankful for the fresh padding of snow to comfort my fall. I blinked up at the white sky above, frowning slightly as grey flakes slowly started falling from the clouds. I plucked a few flakes from my face to discover they were thin pieces of ash.

I typed in the code in accordance to the sounds I heard the buttons make while I had been trapped. I strained to hear the sounds against the roar from the fire that unrelentingly exerted from my body.
The suitcase that had survived in a safe behind me gave an audible click as it unlocked. I lifted the lid to retrieve a more refined version of the hefty collar that was around my neck. It was soft and flexible and from what I could tell was designed to fit around the neck like a choker necklace.
With fire flowing from my fingertips I fastened the new collar around my neck, my fire instantly beginning to recede into me until it ceased to linger just beneath the surface of my skin. The collar was the only way forward for me. I was no longer in control of my powers; it had taken a life of its own and could have destroyed a lot more if I hadn't of clipped a better collar on. I wasn't willing to risk the lives of my family or any other innocent individuals; I wasn't going to give in to a nature that was truly evil. I was going to be who I wanted to be, even if that meant never using my powers again.
I left the device that could remove the collar from my neck behind as I crawled my way out of the rubble of my destruction like a Demon crawling out of the pits of Hell.
Cullen
"We need to get away from here." Fiona perked up.
"We need to fix Fillan first." I knelt down beside him to survey his wounds. I ripped Fillan's pant leg, grimacing at the amount of blood totally obscured the bullet hole somewhere beneath it.
