"What the fuck just happened?" I almost screamed. I've got a good reason to panic right now but I'm trying my best to stay calm. The bright light disappeared now and everything was back to normal except for the papers that was scattered on the floor from the sudden gust of wind.
"I don't know." Roaz replied.
"Come on, be honest with me. I can take it. I just need to know what magic fuckery transpired a while ago!"
"I said I don't know! That don't usually happen." he yelled back.
"Just like being married to a guy. That don't usually happen right?"
"Look it's probably nothing."
"Nothing! Ha! I said that to myself when I kissed a sculpture and look what happened!"
"Tiduromi!"he whispered and pinched a muscle near my left shoulder, if I remembered it correctly from our biology class it was the platysma tissue. How did I even remember that? And why do I feel that my body is getting weaker after his touch?
"What did you do?" I managed to say before I succumbed to darkness.

"ʸᵃˢˢ ˢᶦˢᵎ ˢᵖᶦˡˡ ᵗʰᵉ ᵗᵉᵃᵎ""ᴱᵛᵉʳʸᵇᵒᵈʸ'ˢ ᵍᵒⁿⁿᵃ ᵇᵉ ᵗᵘʳⁿᵗ ᵘᵖ ᵃᶠᵗᵉʳ ᵗʰᶦˢ."
I heard screaming girls in the background and the way they spoke gave me even more headache. I massaged my temples to reduce the dizziness I can still feel. I'll be the happiest guy on earth if I'm drunk. I just had the most insane dream in entire my life."Are you okay now?" somebody asked me in the background.
"Yes I'm alright, Henry. Would you turn off the TV and can I have glass of water please, thank you."
"Who's Henry?" the voice asked. That's when I realized that I was not talking to Henry, our butler.
I opened my eyes and saw an ancient warrior. It's not been a dream after all. Roaz is here standing in front of me. I bit my hand while I slapped the bed to ease my pain. It's true what they say, the world is truly cruel.
After my mini meltdown, I spread my arms in the soft bed. "You know, for a moment I thought I escaped a nightmare." I said to no one in particular.
"I'm sorry I had to do that. You were losing control over your emotion." said Roaz.
"I know but you didn't have to do that." I stared at the plain white ceiling. I need to focus on something calming before I flip out again. "How long was I out?"
"You were out for the count of 3 abinedas."
"I don't speak your language Roaz."
"I'm sorry, it seems to be that the Medralis changed their time system."
I sat up and glanced at my watch instead. I passed out for about thirty minutes. What he did to me was despicable but also impressive. A skill I have to learn. After feeling calm, I stood up and went to the bathroom to wash my face. Roaz followed me there.
"I'm curious Roaz." I said "How can you speak perfect English in a modern way but you don't know what minutes mean?"
"I speak with you in a language that you understand. I can also understand what you're saying to me. Language is a gift from the gods, a gift from the Creator. We were supposed to understand each other on what we wishes to convey and words are just a channel to our thoughts."
I grabbed one of the towel to pat my face.
"There was a time when the mortals have the ability to speak and understand things the way we do but you were punished when you attempted to reach the Creator by creating a pillar that would reach the heavens." he continued. "You understand what I wanted to communicate but there will be a discrepancies when our ideas will not jibe. My limited knowledge will cause a miscommunication if I don't know the equivalent of your concept to ours."
