Dungeon Slayer

"Marco."

"Yes Star, what's up." I look up from the nachos I'm making to see Star jumping up and down.

"My parents want to talk to me about something, when your done making food can you come with me to Mewni?" She looks slightly worried about something so I should probably join her.

(Stars POV)

We finally arrive at my old home. I'm kinda worried about what my parent want to talk about, they usually just tell me stuff over mirror...
Oh well, I just gotta go with the flow I guess, what's the worst that could happen.

Marco and I walk up the castle steps towards the entrance. Our feet leave light tapping sounds on the stairs and it feels so weird to be back in Mewni, I've spent over a year and a half on earth and I've just about adjusted to the culture there. The buildings here, the people, it's so foreign, unfamiliar. It actually makes me kinda sad, as much as I love earth, I kinda miss all the small thing (true care, truth brings ;) ). Its nice to see all the old parts of my life.

"What do you think this is about?" Marco looks at me sideways as we walk together. He seems worried but not very.

"Well I do have duties as a princess, I probably have some ceremony to get to." I give an answer that I'm not quite sure of, usually for a ceremony they would just tell me what it's about straight away.

"Oh right, well I hope its nothing to serious, I was in the mood for fighting some monsters, we haven't taken anyone on in long." Marco gets a crooked smile as he images smashing some enemies. We haven't fought anyone in long, maybe we could go somewhere to fight some ghouls when we're done.

As we walk into the castle we see Manfred, who seems to be waiting for us.
"Oh hello Princess. Good to see you. How have you kept yourself?" His eyes stay full as he greets us. Mom always keeps him so busy I hope he hasnt been over working himself.

"Hey Manfred. I'm really enjoying my time on Earth. It's nice to see you again. Would you happen to know where my parents are." They are no where in sight, maybe there in our sleeping chambers or something.

"Ah yes. The queen told me that she would he back by 2 o'clock. She went on a little errand run, I'm not sure where to. And King Moon went with her. Seeing as it's only 12 o'clock now I would suggest finding something to do so long." Manfred gives a small smile as he talks to us.

"Oh okay, well thanks anyways." Guess me n Marco can go on a little adventure before I meet my parents. Where can I take him? Hmmm. How about those old Monster dungeons that we haven't used in centuries. Mom says they're crawling with spooky creatures to fight. Maybe we'll find some treasure.

"Hey Marco. Do you wanna go to go to some haunted dungeons for a little adventure?" His face lights up and he gives a huge smile.

"What kind of question is that? Of course I want to I couldnt imagine anything better!" I grab his arm and drag him towards the old part of the castle.

We reach a courtyard to walk across. The concrete tiles are lined with beautiful shapes and etchings. We tred across the smooth tiles towards a set of brick stairs. A big wooden door is in between two massive pillars.

"Well. Here we are. The entrance to the old part of the castle. Just a few turns and we'll hit the dungeons." I stop for a second and look at the chains and lock on the door. I remember the guards taking me here as a kid to show me how to fight. There were skeleton monsters and some of the half destroyed ones were perfect to beat for a 10 year old Star.

I grabbed the lock and used my wand to unlock it. Throwing the chains and lock to the side I push the big wooden doors open. Darkness leaks out as the outside light shines in. We see dusty old bricks with some torch holders on the wall.
