Today was the day. Jackie has asked me on a date after we go to the scrap yard with Janna. I still cant wrap my head around this. But I wont let my confusion stop me from being completely ready for the day.

I need to get ready for today to impress Jackie. I get out of bed and hop in the shower, hmm what can I talk to Jackie about? Food, music, hobbies. I'll have to write this down somewhere. I get back out of the shower and dry off in my room. I put on my lucky karate underpants on, I always wear them when I need some confidence. I pull on my favourite black jeans, the ones that fit me best. I carry on my putting on my demon dawg shirt from that day with Star and pony head. And finally I grab my best hoodie, the one I never wear, as it is the only one with not a single stain on it. Today is a make or break, today is the day I get Jackie Lynn Thomas to like me.

Jackie is walking to my left and Janna to my right, and as we walk between the rows of scrap cars Janna talks about how awesome her go cart is going to be.
"I have already invested into a good engine and my dad helped me design the frame, I just need to find a few non-rusty panels for the bumpers, and a few engine parts to add to what I have."

Jackie was holding her skateboard but she hadn't skated yet. Maybe I could ask her to show me a move or two soon, so I could show her my interest in her favorite thing. We stop next to a small electric car as Janna looks under the hood, she grabs a few pipes and weird looking parts, but overall everything she takes looks like it's in a good condition. We move along and I see an old limousine, with a completely flat front back and top.

"Jackie, wouldn't this Limo be perfect to do a skate trick on? You could jump from the top onto the front." Slowly her smile becomes bigger as she looks at the limo and invisions her trick.

"Marco that's an awesome plan, I've been working on a new trick, it's called the impossible. Let me show it to you guys."

Jackie slowly climbs onto the top of the car after she put her skateboard on it. She straps her helmet on and adjusts her knee pads. She gets on her board and gets a look of focus as she gets ready. Her face is so hot, I've never thought about it before but a determined girl makes my heart beat fast.

She takes a breath before she kicks off towards the front of the roof, she crouches to start the trick and right before she reaches the edge she jumps and her board flips forward beneath her, the bottom facing up and the nose dipping to complete the turn. As it gets upright again Jackie's feet make contact and she carries it down to the hood. She lands but hits to hard and flies off, her board sliding out beneath her.

I move quickly and get beneath her falling body, grabbing her around the waist and cushioning her fall so that she doesn't get hurt. She hits me hard tho and we fall over, her on top of me, face to face, her arms on my shoulders and my hands on her waist. She looks me deep in the eyes and hers sparkle as my mind goes blank and my heart beat rockets up. Our faces so close, its almost as if I could lean forward and...

"Ewwwwwww! Ewwwwww!!" Janna screams as she watches us. "Ewwwww! Get a room, you guys are going to make me barf! Ewwwww!" Jackie rolls off me and we both laugh at Jannas reaction to the situation. Jackie smiles as she makes eye contact out of the corner of her eye.

Gulp.

"So what movie do you wanna watch?" Jackie smiles at me as she leans over the counter to the movie house. We just arrived and are deciding what to watch. I'm not sure what looks good, there is a spy movie on, and also a romance comedy, the best one is a karate movie but I don't know if Jackie will enjoy it as much as me.

"Why don't we watch that romance comedy, the trailer looked pretty good." She smiles and we pay for our tickets. She grabs my hand. Wait. Jackie just grabbed my hand, pinch me now. She pulls me into the theater to get popcorn and drinks. Finally we walk into the cinema and take our seats towards the back of the room.

The movie starts off well, it's pretty funny and not to corny. After a while I think about putting my arm over Jackie's shoulder, how am I ever going to do that... ughhh I'll never get enough confidence to try.

Wait, Jackie just picked my arm up, and shes putting it over her shoulders. What is even happening. She looks way and sends a wink. Well my life has turned out to be a dream. We watch the rest of the movie, towards the end it gets a bit corny, but it's totally worth it, Jackie decided to lean her head on my shoulder and snuggle into me. Today could literally not get any better.

We walk out the cinema and start walking home, we reach Jackie's house first. She turns to me and gets that cutest smile that she always has.
"Thank you so much for today Marco, today was really amazing, its one of the first times I've really enjoyed a date with a guy. You're really easy going and you dont talk about yourself too much like those football players. Maybe we could do this again sometime?"

I blush hard and nod to avoid complete embarrassment from a lack of response. I cant believe this is happening, Jackie thinks that I was good on this date, and she wants to go again? I hope this lasts.

"See you later Tiger." Jackie chucks as she leans in and gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"This time your off the hook, but next time I want more than a cheek kiss okay Diaz." She winks and turns around. She walks up her driveway and as she opens the door looks back at me one more time.

As soon as shes gone I throw my arms up and run all the way home. I'm so happy, I'm ecstatic, I really could not believe a moment of today, but it's really happening. My life just got 100 times better. I cant wait to tell Star.

Soooo, Jackie and Marco are finally a romantic pair. I know the way Jackie is acting isnt quite realistic but shes very out going and the series had a similar situation so I guess it makes sense.
