I'm going to write this in author's pov. Tell me if you like this style better ^_^
"Phantom..." Danny muttered, lightly touching at the burning, bubbly flesh. He winced, and decided to let it be.
"It was phantom!" Danny shrieked, dropping the cup of water, causing a puddle to form on the ground.
"Phantom?" Dr. Lisa looked confused, but then looked sternly at him, "I told you, he's not real, he has nothing to do with this, it's just your brain telling you-" her voice seemed to slowly fade out until-silence-
Danny worryingly placed a hand on his ear. The doctor continued to talk, but he couldn't hear a thing she said. He started to hyperventilate. He couldn't hear, he couldn't hea-
"Calm down, you're going to have a heart attack." Phantom appeared behind the doctor, calmly and innocently standing there as if nothing were wrong.
"Uuuwwwaaahhh! Ph-phantom! He's real! His voice... it won't stop! He's right there! He's right-" Danny tried to warn his doctor- but then his voice cracked as phantom smirked, moving around Dr. Lisa and kneeling on the bed in front of Danny, holding his chin up to look at him. Phantom chuckled at the frightened look on his face, his bright blue eyes widened in fear.
"I thought I told you not to tell anyone about me."he said in a smooth, yet threatening tone of voice.
"I'm s-sorry, please don't hurt me, I didn't mean to, I forgo-" Danny yelped as his chin was raised higher. Dr. Lisa just started in confusion, and realisation struck for Danny.
She couldn't see him...
Danny tried to yank away, pushing at the ghost, "d-don't touch me!" He shrieked as the ghost's hand caught his chin once more.
"Hey, listen to me-"
"No! Let me go! Doctor Lisa! H-help!" Danny watched as the doctor called out for more people.
"That's it! SHUT THE HELL UP OR THIS KNIFE GOES INTO HER NECK!" Phantom yelled, holding a knife to Dr. Lisa's neck. Lisa, who was completely oblivious to the knife, was giving Danny a worried look, probably asking if he was okay. Then the other doctors were there too.
Danny just sat there, shaking at the sight. They didn't know. They'd all die. He should warn them-
"You know you can't tell them." Phantom growled, "They'll just think you're crazy."
Danny knew he was right... They wouldn't believe him.
"F-fine! Please don't hurt her! I'll listen!" Danny cried, "just please, please don't hurt her." He hung his head, tears falling down his cheeks.
Phantom sighed, putting the knife away and walking back over to Danny, placing a hand on his cheek, slightly brushing his hair out of his face, "That's a good boy." He said softly, kissing his forehead gently, "I just want you to be safe. I want you to be mine." Phantom said, his lips brushing the raven colored hair, and cool breath blowing on his forehead.
Danny felt a lot calmer at the soothing touch-but-
"Yours?" Danny breathed out, letting phantom rest his chin on the top of his head, and allowing him to brush stray stands if hair out of his eyes.
"Mine..." Phantom repeated. After a minute, phantom faded away, back into the mind of the child, and Danny's hearing returned. He winced as he realised just how much the doctors had been worrying.
"Are you okay!?"
"Can you hear me?"
"Does anything hurt?"
Even though he heard ask if this, he didn't respond. He just started at them. Danny was lost. He didn't know whether he was afraid of phantom or not. If he didn't say he was fine, then-
"Tell them you're fine." Phantom said firmly in his mind.
Danny stared straight forward, not looking at anyone in particular.
"I'm fine." He lied.
