Y/N POV
05:31 PM / 17:31

The fire in front of me crackled, and I looked at the flame eating up the tree. The heat was nice around me, as well as the blanket covering my body. It was a good idea to stay in the cottage because it was raining like crazy outside. The wind outside was going insane, and I was thankful that we decided to stay for a few more hours. I was sitting at the fireplace when I heard some footsteps behind me. Jungkook sat beside me and handed me a cup of what looked like hot chocolate.

"Have you done anything to this?" I asked as he got comfortable next to me. The mug warmed the inside of my hands, it was a nice feeling.

"Yes, I spat in it" he said with a straight face and I glared at him. "Yah, just drink it. This is the first time I'm making you a hot beverage, so you should enjoy it"

"I'm gonna spit in all of your coffees from now on.." I said quietly before sipping the hot chocolate and staring at the flames in front of us. The crackling fire made this whole scenery more authentic, and I truly enjoyed this very moment. We were alone, comfortable enough to speak informally to each other (also rather threatening), but we didn't seem to focus on any worries. We had yet to discuss last night's multiple events and conversations, but it was fine for now.

"The storm is over later tonight, so we can leave tomorrow" Jungkook said, keeping his eyes on the fire.

"And I'm safe to think you won't kill me while we're out here? In the woods? In the middle of a storm?" I looked at him with a skeptical expression, but he just rolled his eyes at me. Of course, I knew that he wouldn't kill me (right now), but I enjoyed being able to make a little fun with him.

"Relax and drink your hot chocolate"

"Funny you say that because that is exactly what a killer would say" A smile spread across his lips, making his teeth peak out.

"You're exposing me.." I couldn't help but giggle at his comment, and a small laugh escaped his mouth as well. He actually looked really sweet when he smiled widely. I liked it when he was goofy and when we could laugh together. He was often this serious person, but it suited him to be like this. "Are you hungry?"

"A little.." I looked at my watch and realized that it was time to eat soon.

"Alright, I'll be right back.." he stood up and I watched him walk away from the living room, and into the kitchen. I kept the mug in my hands and stared into the fire in front of me. I tried to focus on the thought of getting my hands warmed up, but my thoughts were disturbed by the noises coming from the kitchen. I looked towards the kitchen and saw Jungkook return after a few moments with two cups of instant noodles in his hands. "I think my mom threw out the remaining food since she thought we'd all be leaving today, so this was all there was" he explained and handed me the warm cup of noodles. I blew on the noodles and watched the steam from it getting thinner. Never had I imagined to spend a rainy Sunday like this, in front of living fire, sipping hot chocolate and eating instant noodles with Jungkook. But it liked it.

The darkness was taking over the cottage, and it was getting colder and colder. The rain was still pouring down outside, but I found a strange comfort from it. I was sitting on the couch in the living room when Jungkook walked over to me, wearing a mysterious smile after being away for about 30 minutes. He had specifically told me not to move out of my spot, and knowing what he's capable of, I didn't want to defy him.

"Oh no, what did you do?" was the first thing that could leave my mouth.

"I have a surprise for you.." he announced and stood in front of me. I instantly squinted my eyes, doubting his weird way of acting right now.
