I turned my head to look at Jungkook in confusion and saw a fake smile plastered on his face while he was looking at his mother who was now walking back towards us. A man appeared from the hallway, and I immediately got intimidated by the cold eyes. As he came closer to us, my heart started beating faster. I was already afraid of doing something wrong in this man's eyes, and I hadn't even spoken to him.

"Hello father" Jungkook bowed, and he slightly nodded back to his son.

"Son.."

An awkward silence joined the corridor, and I had no idea how to act in this atmosphere. I knew that I would have to greet the man in front of me, but he was so intimidating, that it completely froze my body.

"Honey, this is Jungkook's girlfriend!" Mrs. Jeon introduced me with a proud smile, and my eyes met his. I was about to reach out my hand, but Jungkook grabbed my hand before I even made a bigger move.

"Father, Y/N. Y/N, my father" Jungkook continued the introduction, and I bowed to his father. I received a couple of cold eyes from him and felt scared to even look away. I was scared to seem disrespectful towards him, so I just did what seemed most respectful at this moment.

"Where's Minho?" Mr. Jeon looked at his wife and completely ignored the fact that I was there.

"He'll be arriving at any minute.." she responded her husband and turned towards Jungkook and me. "Do you want something to drink?"

"No thank you, we should go to our room to unpack" Jungkook was quick to answer, and I decided to keep my mouth shut until I was addressed directly.

"Oh, let me lead you to your room! I have a surprise!" Mrs. Jeon clapped her hands in excitement, and I smiled and the kind lady. Jungkook took our bags in his hands, and Mrs. Jeon showed us the way through the house. While walking through the house, I noticed the many plants and flowers that Jungkook briefly mentioned. The modern interior continued through the house, but it still had its charm. We made it to the first floor, and Mrs. Jeon led us to a closed door. When she opened the door, a beautiful and aesthetic room was in front of me. Just like Jungkook's secret library in his home, this room had a completely different vibe to it than the rest of the house. It was looking a lot more like a usual 'cottage-room', with a wooden wall and brown interior, but was still modern and cozy. "I'm giving you two the romantic couple-room!" she announced and I locked eyes with Jungkook with hidden panic. I know we read each other's minds, so he quickly turned towards his mother.

"Mom, you don't have to, why would you give it to us?" he asked politely.

"I know Minho and Krystal are getting married, but I want to welcome you to the family, Y/N. I feel like I'm doing that by giving you two this room.." she walked towards me and took my hands in hers. It was definitely a nice thought, and I couldn't say no to her. She seemed so genuinely excited to meet me, and that just made lying about this relationship even harder. I nodded and accepted the room, feeling anxious inside. Jungkook and I walked further into the area, and he placed our bags next to the kingsize bed. "Jungkook, make sure to show Y/N around the house. I can't have my future daughter-in-law running around, not knowing where she is" she winked in my direction and a burst of nervous laughter escaped between my lips.

"Yes, mom. I'll do that in a moment" Jungkook responded.

"Oh, and Y/N dear.." she came to me and I noticed the serious expression on her face "I know this is fast to say, but I really want grandchildren. But you should know that I completely understand if you're not ready. So I've put some condo-"

"Alright, mom! Thank you for the room, we'll see you in a bit" Jungkook took her arm and started leading her out of the room.

"But what if she doesn't-"
