I felt my back slam painfully into a corner, my hands over my ears. I just wanted the voices to shut up, I didn't want to hurt anyone. "Techno?" I looked up, seeing a familiar man with blonde hair and a striped hat. "Are you okay?"
"The voices, Phil," I gasped, my head pounding.
Philza crouched beside me, a hand on my shoulder. "You'll be okay, Techno. The voices can't hurt you, nor can they make you do anything. You are in control. Do you want a hug?" I found comfort in the older man's words, and consented to the hug. I wrapped my arms around him, the voices dying down, no longer screaming for blood.
B A N G!
I looked up, feeling Philza let go of me and open the front door. "A creeper just went off," he said. "I don't see anyone, though."
I slowly got up, my back hurting, and looked outside also. Zombies and creepers were walking towards something, skeletons shooting in the same direction. "Someone's out there," I said, summoning my sword. I walked out of the house, stabbing the monsters as I walked, Phil behind me.
A scream, another bang.
I hurried up, almost running in their direction.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEE"
I stumbled, swearing. Stupid voices. Ahead of me, through the snowstorm, I saw something fall. I sprinted over and looked down at the stranger collapsed in the snow. I quickly slaughtered any and all monsters near us, barley taking any damage myself. I crouched down to get a better look at the person. Their lips and nose were tinged blue, their eyes closed. I pulled off my cape, calling out for Phil, and wrapped the cape around the person, picking them up.
I took the stranger back to my house, setting them down by the fire.
"Who is that?" Phil asked, coming up behind me as I put more coal into the fire.
"I'm not sure, I found them in the snow. It was them who attracted the monsters."
Philza brushed their snow covered red hair from their eyes. "I think I've seen her before, with Dream, I think they're friends. I'm not sure what she's doing this far away from him though. Are you sure she was alone?"
"I didn't see anyone else, if Dream was here then why didn't he help her?"
"I'm not sure, Techno. But it's late, you should get some rest, I can stay here and watch the kid," Phil said, looking up at me.
"Okay... Goodnight, Philza." I got up, starting to climb the ladder to the second floor.
"Goodnight, Techno."
