Artist: Amber Liu
Song: Other People
Album: X Part. 2
Year: 2019
Lyrics:
Things I shouldn't think about
Wear my heart underneath my sleeves
Waking up to restless dreams
Need to replace you with other people
Avoid our places (eh eh eh)
Sleep in other spaces (eh eh eh)
But nothing changes (eh eh eh)
I'm replacing you, replacing you, replacing you with other people
*With other people
It should be simple
I'm replacing you, replacing you,
replacing you with other people
**Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh x3
I'm replacing you, replacing you,
replacing you with other people
Love myself I try do it
Hard when everything ain't as sweet
These emotions I can't beat
Need to replace with it other people
I'm in these places (eh eh eh)
Trying to find the spaces (eh eh eh)
But nothing changes (eh eh eh)
I'm replacing you, replacing you,
replacing you with other people
* I remember constantly
cuz forgetting's hard to do
Sleep in different beds each night
cuz I hate me going home
At the end, every bottle all I see you
Need to replace, place you with other people
Love myself I try do
Waking up the restless dreams
These emotions I can't beat
I'm replacing you, replacing you,
replacing you with other people
(Other people, other people) x3
* (Other people, other people) x3

A story behind this lyrics makes me realize.. Loving other not really important, so don't hold on it if the relationship only create wounds and pain.
"After the break up, I made a lot of mistakes and did a lot of dumb things. I'm so thankful for the friends that got me through it. You know who you are 😉 I'm slowly learning that it's better to replace the negativity with positively, whether that be negative situations or people. Learning to replace the "fool" with puppy cuddles, making music, going to escape rooms, watching anime, working out....and with boba :] Dedicated to everyone who needs more positively in their life. What are YOU going to replace the negative with?"— Amber
