A striking Likeness

"You know my brother may play this but I never saw this card before," she says handing the boy with green hair the cards.

"Yeah, Umm my teacher Reichi, was describing a girl he met on his travels. I decided to use her for my first professional card design. I didn't realize you were here in Nanimori. Here you take this deck. I'll teach you to play sometime. My name is Ryusei Leonardo," he says closing her hands around the cards.

"Wow, are you sure," she asks.

"Heh sure I'm sure," he says with a blush. "After all I just met the real 'Serene Sky Maiden'," he says.

"Well actually my name is Sawada Celina," she says. "Tsuna is going to freak, and Papa is getting a special dessert," the last part she says to herself.

As she walks away marveling over the cards she doesn't see the blush across the boy's face. Celina is almost home with her head down when she hears an argument. Then as she looks up she kicks her feet out and drops back onto the ground or she was expecting to. She realizes she has been caught.

"Hey watch, where you are swinging that you psycho woman," the blonde haired boy says, "you nearly took her head off."

Celina looks at the girl. "Oh hey Ren, I didn't know you were passing through."

The girl with the sword sheaths the wide blade and smiles.

"Hello, Celina. My parents dropped me off to train with and watch my grandpa for a while," the girl named Ren says before focusing on the boy. "Now unhand Sawada-chan."

"Wait, you know the sword girl? Wait Celina? Sawada? You're the maiden the boss wanted me to meet who made that noise. I'm Karasu Shingo, your knight in shining armor ," he says setting Celina on her feet and sketching a pose with his hands on his hips.

She brushes herself off and levels a look at him. "My name is Sawada Celina as for maiden, I can take care of myself."

She sets her instrument on the ground and looks to the girl in glasses.

"May I borrow your scabbard," Celina says looking to Ren.

The girl adjusts her glasses and hands the scabbard to the girl with brown hair with a smile. The blonde haired boy smiles as he pulls out a tuning fork and wraps tubing around the slight notches.

"Really? You sure about this," he asks. "The boss said I would find a woman worth fighting for so I hope he doesn't mind if I test you myself."

Ren just smiles and steps back picking up Celina's things. Watching as the smaller girl traces an arc with the scabbard the boy breaks his bracelet. A string of metal and crystal balls fall into his hand.

The first shot is easily deflected. As the boy's shots pick up in speed he aims at different parts of Celina's body. As she starts to charge him he changes his targets. As Celina dodges a shot at her feet by jumping he smiles.

"Gotcha now," he says as the shots start to ricochet.

One crystal shot shatters up and Shingo reflects a bead off the shard. As it goes towards her eye Celina tucks her head and flips. Using the extra momentum of the spin she throws the scabbard and it falls just short of the boy.

"Heh you missed," he says looking down at the scabbard. When he looks up to find Celina's heel an inch from his nose.

"I'd rather not send an albino crow to the afterlife, seeing how rare they are," Celina says with a smile.

She scoops up the scabbard and returns it to Ren.

"Thank you for the loan Ren-chan," Celina says accepting her bag and viola.
