"The past?" Josh asked while walking to the kitchen, with his kids following him
"Yeah... I guess it started once I touched the Vampology Bible in class" Jenny explained while glancing at a bag of blood... it looked kinda like the juice she loved to drink... wait a minute...
"What is that?" she pointed, Josh looked at the bag
"Blood" she picked it up
"Blood..?" she opened the lid and smelled a familiar scent that she loved. she brought her lips closer to the lid and took a sip, it taste just like juice her friends give her...
"Its... it's really blood?" she asked wide eyed, Josh and Jeremy nodded "so... I really am... part..."
"Yes, you are. it would explain your nature on memory, speed, instincts, and healing" Jeremy said "well, you heal half way because you're only half human"
Jenny stared down at the blood bag "is it bad for me to find this amazing?"
"Not really, you are vampire after all"
"But I'm still human"
"True, but your vampire genes are stronger" she nodded understanding and took another sip of the blood, her family smiled
Why did her friends lie about what she was drinking? probably because she found it good and they didn't question it, they already probably know she was part vampire
"It's okay for you to drink blood mija, it's better from a bag or bottle for you because you don't have any fangs" Josh said while grabbing another blood bag and tossed it to Jeremy, Jenny watched him drink it like it was juice... she knew him for years and she discovered a whole new Jeremy right in front of her
"Will I get any?" she asked
"No, but you do have sharp canine teeth for a human, it helps chew on meat better, that's the purpose for humans to have them, vampires... you know why"
"So anyways... about your powers, tell me about them" Josh sat on a stool
"Well... it started with that Vampology bible thing... it burned my hand"
"It burned your hand?" Jeremy asked, looking at her hands "they look fine to me"
"It was just one hand, and Louis gave me some juice and I felt better, you know how pain effects me..." she looked down "well, I now know that it wasn't juice"
"It was his blood" Jeremy smirked, Josh flinched
"You're drinking a boys blood?? who is he??" Jenny giggled at his over protectiveness
"He's a good friend daddy..." she smiled "I work for him, his sisters told me I could stay in their home if I become his maid, because he's always working in his room"
"His maid?" Jeremy pressed his lips together, trying to hold in his laughter, Jenny slapped his arm embarrassed
"He's not bad! his sisters said he was a mean person, but when I met him, he was sweet..." she smiled at the floor
"That's mainly because you're a half breed, vampires love you, humans hate you" Josh said stubbornly
"Yeah... I figured that, why is that exactly?"
"Not really sure, but you still haven't told us of your powers, you said your hand burned from our bible/textbook" Jenny nodded
"Yeah, I turned to the very first page, which was blank. I placed my hand on it and it felt like it caught on fire, the pain effected me and Louis took me to the infirmary"
