The Fosters: Callie Olmsted and Brandon Foster

Chapter 4

Callie's POV

I woke up to the smell of pancakes cooking. I love pancakes and I want my future husband to make pancakes for me all the time. I got up ran to the bathroom, got ready, and brushed my teeth.

I started eating when I realized Jude wasn't up and we were going to be late for school. I'm a little scared for what's going to happen at this school but also happy that we get a fresh new start. "Jude wake up your going to be late to school" I said as I saw a smile appear on his face I guess he wasn't scared like I was. "I can't believe we are finally adopted and finally going to a good school!" he said as he walked out of his room and into the bathroom.

I went downstairs and finished eating breakfast with Jude and then we left. So many thoughts went through my mind as we were leaving. Liam brought us since mom and dad had to go to work early. When we got there it was gorgeous and my mouth dropped it was on a beautiful beach.

We went to the assistant principles office. Her name was Lena Adams Foster and she was really pretty. She gave us our schedule and told her daughter to show us around. Her name was Mariana.

Mariana's POV

I'm so happy there's a new girl she looks drop dead gorgeous. Maybe we can become best friends and go shopping together and OH we can give each other makeovers! "Hi I'm Mariana and we are going to be best friends okay?" I said to the girl her name was Callie if I recall correctly. "Okay... this is the fastest I've ever made a friend" she said a little surprised and we both laughed.

I showed her and her little brother around and left them on their own when they were comfortable enough. Maybe I can invite her over for dinner sometime to meet my family I think she will like them a lot.

Callie's POV

Mariana seems pretty cool so I agreed to being her friend and she showed us around. After a while we exchanged phone numbers then left when me and Jude were comfortable on our own. I really do think we will become best friends. I went to my classes and everything went perfectly fine I even made more friends and ate lunch with Mariana. She asked me to eat dinner with her family tomorrow so I agreed.

When I got home I did my homework and ate dinner. After dinner I went to my room and couldn't stop thinking about how excited I was to eat dinner at Mariana's. So I picked out an outfit for tomorrow a blue fitted top, skinny jeans, and my black converse. I was going to wear shorts but I didn't want anyone other than my family to know about the bruises and cuts on my legs from previous foster homes and their abusive ways.

Liam came in to my room. "Hey cal" he said "Hey what's up Liam" me and Liam are getting really close but not too close. " nothing really I just wanted to say goodnight" he came over and hugged me then kissed my cheek... I wonder what that was about? "goodnight Liam" I said while he walked out of my room that was strange... oh well.

The next day... still Callie's POV

Everyone was already awake and was ready to leave. I wore the outfit I picked out and I felt really confident that today was going to be a good day.

I got to school and everything went great I even met this guy Wyatt he is pretty cute...not that I want to date him or anything. At the end of the school day I went home with Mariana and I met her twin brother Jesus. He's really laid back and relaxed so I like him already.

We went to her room and talked. " I have another brother who isn't home but me and Jesus are adopted so it's not by blood, but DNA doesn't make a family love does" she said so I said "Really?!? Jude and I are adopted too." it was so weird but we connected instantly like we were meant to meet or something. We talked and talked until it was dinner time.

I went down with Mariana and introduced myself to everyone again they had a family friend over her name was Jennifer. When my eyes met with this really hot guy with brown hair and green eyes I stopped and stared. Right when I saw him my heart started beating really fast and I got really nervous. "Who is this" he said "I'm Callie" I managed to say to him but we both just stared at each other. "I'm uh Brandon" oh gosh he's so cute! We finally managed to stop staring at each other and eat. I sat next to him and we all talked until it was time for me to leave. I took a picture with the kids of the house and Jennifer.
When we said our goodbyes Brandon gave me his phone number. I can't wait to text him!

Brandon's POV

I can't stop thinking about Callie. When she was leaving I have her my phone number. She was so... so beautiful. The way her hair looked and her smile could cure cancer and her eyes were chocolate brown.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my phone it was Callie texting me.

C- Hey
B-Hey what's up
C-I just wanted to talk to you
B- Oh okay :)
C- So uh...
B-You are really pretty
After I sent that I felt really awkward and regretted it for a second.

C- And you are handsome ;)
B- You wanna go out sometime

She didn't reply but a minute later she called

C-Yes I wanna go out with you sometime
B-Okay how about tomorrow after school you can come over
C-Okay well- who are you talking to
I hear someone say in the background
C- A friend fr- Hang up NOW
C- Bye Brandon I'm sorry I have to go text you later. I
She whispered into the phone then I hear someone say WHY DONT YOU LISTEN.

Then the phone beeps... they hung up. I wonder what that was about. I guess I will find out tomorrow.

Callie's POV

Liam was yelling at me and I don't know why. Nobody else was home but us. I said bye to Brandon and Liam took my phone and hung up. I started to cry and then Liam felt bad to he apologized and told me he doesn't want his sister he just got to get hurt so I accepted his apology and went to bed.

Liam's POV

I don't want anyone to be with Callie because I love her. I heard her say 'Yes I wanna go out with you sometime and just flipped.
