Charles looks at Jessie and begins to protest.

"Baby, it's not what you think."

"Oh is it? So you ain't fucking her too?" She frowned at him.

"No, I'm not."

"Mhm, I'm sick and tired of you lying to me and making me look like a damn fool in front of everyone. I can't keep fake smiling at people knowing that you are doing something wrong. I have done so much for you and sacrifice so much. Why can't you see that?"

"I do see it, and I'm grateful for you. I really am."

"Well, you need to start acting it cause your actions are saying otherwise."

"Babe, you know my cheating days are over, and I'm fully committed to you." Charles lied.

"Scrapp, I just can't help but feel-,"

"Jessie, look at me. You have to trust me in order for this marriage to work. I love you, and I will never put that hurt on you that I cause a couple of years ago."

"Okay." Jessie dismissed her feelings because she was so deeply in love with him.

Sooner or later, Jessie will follow her gut, and she will find out that she was right all along, and it won't be pretty. Charles gets up off the bed as Jessie falls into a deep sleep. He walks downstairs picking up the bags from the floor then putting them on the kitchen counter. Charles put the items up and put Jessie's snacks in the snack basket. Charles' phone begins to vibrate, and he takes it out of his pocket then looks at it.

He smirks as he reads the text message then reply to it. Charles' cheating is a part of his lifestyle, and it's a habit that he can't get rid of. Being one woman just isn't even for him because he likes different kinds. He is hoping that she will forgive him just like all those other times. He does love Jessie, but he has a hard time showing it and a hard time being a faithful husband.

Lying to Jessie is as easy as stealing from a mall like Debbie Ocean did with those perfume boxes on Ocean's 8. Charles is slowly becoming an expert on covering his tracks and making up lies and excuses to throw Jessie off. He deletes text messages and puts his phone on silent around her to make it seems like he doesn't get any messages or calls from anyone.

Charles goes to the cabinet to see if Jessie is taking the medicine correctly and just as expected she isn't because the bottle is half full, and the next refill is next week.

"Damn it, Jess. You are stubborn as hell." He mumbled.

He put the pill bottle back in the cabinet and close it. Charles cares about her wellbeing and her health more than anything, and he doesn't want her to end up harming herself or other people. Due to the last incident which was a few months ago cause her to be locked up for a numbered of days, and Charles feels that she had learned something from the experience, but she hasn't.

People have called her crazy, troubled, and institutionalized, but Charles is trying to change her image to the world, so she can be a proper role model for their child one day. Charles knows that Jessie needs to keep herself occupied instead of sitting, waiting, and worrying about him, so he thinks of a way to keep her actively engaged. Charles will never realize that he is the main problem to her condition until it is too late.

Next chapter will be longer. Over 1,000 words. Keep getting them votes up cause pressing that star means a lot to me and lets me know that you liked the chapter. ❤❤❤
