Sorry, not the SUNNIEST of subjects, but a realistic one.
Life sucks. People have control over when, where, and how, they get to go. Let them have that. In some places, people don't have the chance to jump off the cliff.
Don't tell a person to suffer through their pain longer, just because you heard people telling that to people in that situation.
People are different. This doesn't help everyone. This doesn't apply to everyone.
Forget it. I'm just a stranger on the internet. What do I know?
Nobody has read the end to my stories, but they don't have happy endings. Well, they might have a "pleasant" ending, but there is no " happily ever after". Why? Because that isn't how reality works. The hero doesn't always save the day.
The candle burns out eventually.
Or sometimes:
The candle's flame is blown out of existence.
Does anybody care about that flame?
No. Because it doesn't have life.
Does the flame not dance?
Does fire not require oxygen?
Does the flame not grow when "eating" the wax, or wood?
But, hey.
What does a little child like myself know?
Nothing that somebody else hasn't brought to light.
Who else is a flame in waiting?
