Once upon a time. Not. This isn't a fairytale. This is the real Cinderella story. This is real life.
"Hurry up!" My stepsister Marsha yelled. She apparently wants me to make her breakfast. I slowly pulled myself out of the bed, knowing that soon, my stepmother, Ursula would start yelling too.
"Get down here right now!" There she goes. I guess I should get down there. Quickly, I brush my teeth and take a shower. I decide to wear a turquoise tank top with a jean jacket and skinny jeans.
I'm running out of time and I know it. School starts in 45 minutes and the bus comes in a half hour. I run a comb through my long, brown hair and decide not to wear makeup today.
"Took you long enough." Marsha muttered.
"Shut up, Marsha!" Isabel, her twin yelled.
"Why are you always in her side?"
As they continued to argue, I put some butter on some toasted bread, and got a fruit punch Capri-sun from the fridge.
"Bye Izzy, I'll see you later." I said, walking through the door.
They go to Transylvania, the most prestigious private school in the state of California. Me, I'm stuck at Hollywood High, which is a public school and not nearly as cool as it sounds.
I run over to Jasmine, my BFF's house. Not bothering to knock, I barged in, and see her eating a pack of Oreos. "C'mon, let's go. Bring me a pack."
"Don't you eat at your own house?! You know more than anyone that I don't share Oreos, she exclaimed.
"Lol ok, well, make an exception today," I said after sticking out my tongue.
"Ugh, you're so infuriating!!"
"I know I love me too."
