jeongin sat on the cold, tiled floor as he cried.

he was hurt. so damn hurt.

his back was filled with scratches, his lips were busted, his eyes were surrounded with a mix of black and dark violet, countless scars on his arms to his foot.

he was scared for his dear life.

he felt useless. he felt weak. he was at the nearest point of being numb.

he thought he'd be surrounded with so much freedom after he left seungmin who had done nothing but to spit venomous words to him.

he never expected to be treated worse— the worst rather.

his father was nothing but a homophobe who acted like a saint around his wife. nothing but that.

he only supported seungmin, not the relationship seungmin and jeongin had. not even jeongin himself.

jeongin's voice cracked every time he tried to speak, finding his voice useless as it didn't help him one bit.

"da- dad–" jeongin groaned again as he was hit with the leather belt for the nth time. "p-please stop."

"what, huh?! you wasted seungmin cause of your pettiness! cause you're so. fucking. weak." jeongin was hit everytime his father paused between the last three words he'd said. blood had already trickled down jeongin's new scars.

"he helped us financially! yet you couldn't even take in such words! i never raised you to be this weak!" jeongin's father was at a crazy amount of rage. he hit his son as if he was nothing.

"you useless piece of shit."

that's why jeongin was always so scared.

he was scared to love who he really wanted to love.

he didn't and will never like women romantically.

but he had less than zero choices. he had to cope up with himself as he restricted his own to ever fall interested to the same sex.

he was scared to be weak.

he wanted to be the man to a relationship. he didn't want to be the weak one.

he didn't want to be stereotypical, but he knew his wants. jeongin felt ridiculous as it is.

he wanted to be straight.

but damn it.

hwang hyunjin was slowly breaking his walls.
