[YOUR POV]

It's been weeks when my new neighbor moved next to my apartment. I felt guilty about what I did when I closed the door at him. But, it's a good thing that he didn't bother me anymore.

Another day of work, my table is full of paper works that's been calling my name for days now. It's the time of the month again where the bank that I'm working at became a very busy place. Deposit and withdrawals, here and there. People come and go. Our bosses are coming too because of big deal meetings with some rich companies out there.

Well, I have no right to complain because they pay me good money. I actually have savings for my future. That was suppose to be a surprise for Hanbin if ever we decided to settle but... everything became a mess. But at least I have my savings.

It's lunch break already and I didn't have the time to make my own lunch earlier because I was in a hurry. I planned to go out to grab my lunch in the nearest mall when suddenly I saw a very familiar face.

"It's him."

He's at the mall. Hanbin is here.

He's about to enter the restaurant.

My body stopped for a while. I don't know what to do. My heart is beating fast because of this overwhelming feeling.

The bad news is, the restaurant that he went to is the same restaurant that I called earlier for a take out. How can I go there and claim my food????

My hands are shaking and my mind is still blank.

My senses came back when my phone vibrated in my pocket.

"H-hello?" I answered the phone without even looking who called.

"Hey. Where are you? You're not at your office?" It's Seokjin.

"I-i'm at the m-mall." I was struggling to speak straight because my body is still shaking.

"Why are you stuttering? Is everything okay?"

"Well, I just saw my ex."

"What?! Go back here in your office. Don't do anything weird."

"Seokjin. Help me."

"Why? What happened?"

"Please claim my food."

"What? Why am I gonna do that?"

"Just please come here and claim my food. Come on. No more asking!" I was still panicking.

"Okay okay. Don't shout. I'm going there. Meet me on the entrance."

I ended the call and forced my feet to go to the entrance of the mall.

Our office is just a couple minute of walk to the mall. I waited outside and I swear it was the longest 2 minutes of my life.

I saw Seokjin from afar and I waved at him.

"Faster!" I shouted.

"What's the hurry?"

"Don't ask anything. Please please claim my food."

"Hey. Relax! I'm gonna claim your food. Let's go."

We walked near the restaurant and Seokjin is pulling me inside.

"Come on! He's not gonna see you! I'm sure he's busy with his food." Seokjin explained.

"No!! I'm gonna wait outside!"

I ran at outside of the restaurant.

Seokjin went inside.

After 10 minutes, he went out.

"What took you so long?" I asked.

"Well, there's a long line. I had to queue. Let's go."

We went back to our office. My mind is still floating. My body is shaking.

"Hey. Don't overthink about that." Seokjin saw me just looking at my food and not eating anything. "Eat first. Our lunch break's gonna end in a few minutes."

I sighed.

"It's your first time seeing him again after... how many months?"

"Almost 8 months."

"I see. That's why you're still affected about him."

I really want to ask Seokjin about something but my mind is hesitating.

"Seokjin..." Aaaaand here come's my stubborn mouth. Still can't help but to ask something stupid.

"Hhhmm?"

"Is he with... someone??" The stupidity has spilled.

He stopped eating. "Well..." He stopped talking for a while and looked at me. "He's alone."

I felt a bit of relief inside me.

It's been a while.

It's been almost 8 months but I know this heart is still longing for him.

Hello! How is everyone doing?

I kinda miss updating this story. I lost my drafts so I have to start again from scratch. But anyway, I hope all of you are okay.

Lately I don't feel like myself anymore. I deactivated all my social media accounts and became MIA for a while. I lost interest in some of my hobbies. I feel left out and I feel like everyone forgot about me.

Sorry for blabbering too much.

Don't forget to drink your water!

Love lots,
mai
