The past week had been filled with Taehyung helping Jungkook, trying to beat Jimin to every one of Jungkook's needs, no matter how minor, and escorting the younger everywhere to make sure he wasn't harmed.
Jungkook, of course, found this adorable and told Jimin to try and do more, just so he could see Taehyung beat him to it, which he complied with because he knew how much the two were falling for each other.
The four friends were either at Jimin and Jungkook's or Yoongi and Taehyung's every night, since Jungkook wanted Taehyung's cuddles and visa versa, and Jimin and Yoongi wanted the same from each other.
This specific morning, Jungkook and Taehyung had been extremely cuddly, not that they weren't always. But, Jungkook wouldn't be escorted to his class by Taehyung for the first time in a week, since Taehyung had a test he needed to take that started ten minutes before Jungkook's class and lasted five minutes after. His class normally started ten minutes after Jungkook's and got out ten minutes earlier.
"V, I'll be okay", Jungkook giggled, pushing Taehyung's face away from his, thought Taehyung still had him pinned to the bed, so he couldn't really go anywhere. Taehyung had been peppering Jungkook's face in kisses asking if he was sure he would be okay going alone for the last two minutes. They had just woke up about ten prior.
"Fine, but text me or call me if you need anything. I'll be there as fast as I can be", Taehyung smiled softly, caressing his cheek. He leaned down and kissed Jungkook's forehead once more," I'll go get us some breakfast while you get ready, yeah?"
"Yeah", Jungkook smiled. Taehyung stood up and helped Jungkook up. Jungkook immediately wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck and hugged him tightly, standing on his tip toes, since Taehyung was a bit taller than him. Taehyung hugged Jungkook's waist and kissed his cheek as they hugged. Jungkook then pulled away to get ready.
"Did you just need one more hug before I leave the bedroom?", Taehyung asked with a chuckle.
"Maybe", Jungkook giggled.
"I'll call you out when breakfast is ready", Taehyung smiled. Jungkook nodded and proceeded to start getting ready, while Taehyung went into the kitchen to fix them each a bowl of fruit.
After both were ready and breakfast was eaten, Taehyung left for class. Jungkook left with him, deciding he would just go to class early that day. So, the two walked to class together, being sickeningly adorable as had become the norm. Taehyung kissed Jungkook's forehead before leaving to his own class.
He worried about Jungkook all through his test, even after Jungkook told him he would wait for Taehyung outside his class for him. He didn't hear from Jungkook all through the test, which he took as a good sign, and he hoped he was correct with that.
When the bell finally rang, Taehyung was the first out of the classroom. He walked outside, expecting to see Jungkook waiting for him, but he didn't. A feeling of trouble rushed over Taehyung as he began running to Jungkook's class.
Sure enough, Jungkook was there, cornered by a group of about three bigger guys, five girls he knew he had slept with, and who weren't happy when they never got a call back, standing beside the group, smug looks on all their faces.
None seemed to notice Taehyung as he approached. Taehyung quickly turned on his phone camera and put it in his pocket. He was going to get those bullies expelled, hopefully more. He was already angry as he walked up to them, but once he heard what they were saying and saw the petrified look on Jungkook's formerly cheery face, he was enraged. He only grew angrier when he saw Jungkook pushed to the hard, concrete ground.
