CHAPTER 6

Jeongguk decided to forget about the giant spaghetti stain on his white shirt and pursued his way. His hands were shaking with stress and his heart thumped the closer he got to the blonde.

But none of that mattered when he slipped on a banana peel that he hadn't noticed. He comedically flipped onto his back, hitting his head on the tiles. Everyone stared at him in shock, some chuckling, some gasping and some wondering if he was still alive.

Jeongguk woke up in the nurse's office. He groaned at the incredibly blinding light as his head pounded with pain. The nurse was looming above him now that he had started making a lot of painful noises.

"You got a light concussion", she said, clicking her tongue, "You can't leave until I've called your parents. Hopefully they'll come to pick you up".

He watched her leave and panicked. This couldn't be happening! He was supposed to confess today! His gaze went from the unlocked door to the nurse that was probably dialing his parents.

What should he do?
