CHAPTER 27

Jeongguk stopped in his tracks and let Bogum approach him first. With sad eyes he saw how the older started to confess to the beautiful blonde. He carefully watched how Taehyung's facial expressions changed during the confession. He started silently praying that the blonde would reject him and pick him instead.

And it seemed like luck was on his side. Bogum left not too long after with a sad frown on his face. He too saw just how down Taehyung looked from hearing the confession. Jeongguk carefully neared him with a scared heart. He stopped in front of the boy, "Taehyung? What's wrong?"

He didn't understand why the older looked so sad from hearing a confession.

"No one wants to be my friend and everyone is just after me for my looks", Taehyung said, his voice being so sad that Jeongguk almost wanted to cry, "No one cares about me as a person. I just want to have a friend I can trust. I just want a friend who doesn't like me for my body".

Jeongguk hesitated a bit to answer. What should he do?
