If I had known today was going to be the worst day of my life when I opened my eyes this morning, I would have gone straight back to sleep. As it was, I awoke happy and feeling rather refreshed, despite being in my local until closing time last night. Yes, it was a school night and yes, I did drink maybe one... ok two too many drinks but you only live once, right? Anyway, whilst going through the usual lather, rinse, repeat ritual in the shower I was feeling pumped, full of life, ready for the day ahead. There was absolutely nothing gonna break my stride, oh no – as the song goes.
Grabbing my keys and munching on some toast I left home thinking today was going to be a good day. Oh, the error of youth eh? You have to laugh or you'll cry. Hahaha... no, actually I think I'd rather cry.
