Saying Preston and Gianna had lost their minds would be the understatement of the decade. Those two were delusional if they thought that somehow Hunter and I going to lunch together would immediately solve our problems towards each other.
Yeah, miss me with that bullshit.
"What about the paps?" I had asked them. I was hoping the idea of the crazy paparazzi would diminish their idea of sending Hunter and I out and about together but it gave them another reason to do so.
Apparently, if Hunter and I were caught hanging around each other, people would get curious. Hence, causing more people to become interested in our latest works since it's not every day that we are seen with each other.
If anything, I think both Hunter and I try to avoid seeing each other at all costs.
We walked to Hunter's car in silence because we really didn't have much to say to each other. You know, aside from constantly bickering like one of those toxic high school couples.
No shade though, I'm just saying.
It was a bit cold for LA weather which was why I was delighted with the fact that I had decided to wear a short button-up cardigan type sweater along with a pair of designer jeans and a cropped white shirt. I had also put on a little leather purse and a pair of black heeled Louboutin booties.
"You know, I've never seen you this quiet before," Hunter said as we entered his silver 2019 Aston Martin Vantage Coupe. "I would be enjoying the silence, but I'm worried that you may be planning my murder."
"Gosh Hunter, how egotistical do you have to be? Just because I'm not talking doesn't mean I'm planning a fucking homicide. Although, it does sound a bit appealing right now," I smirked.
"Okay women, calm down. No need to go all crazy on me," he sighed.
He does that a lot, it's weird.
"So, where do you want to eat?" he asked after a moment of silence.
"Honestly, I couldn't care less."
"Seafood it is."

"Table for two?" the Hostess asked. I could tell by her facial expressions that she was shocked. For what, I didn't know. Maybe because we were two celebrities right in front of her or it could be the fact that Hunter and I were together. I nodded and she lead us to a table in the back of the restaurant.
"No, table for four. Are you ignoring my imaginary pet fish?" Hunter murmured agitatedly. Luckily for him, I'm not sure the hostess heard his comment.
We ordered our food and sat in the awkward silence that followed.
Noticing that I wasn't going to make any effort to speak, Hunter cleared his throat.
"So, Aria. Good weather today, huh?"
"For a guy who is said to be a ladies' man, you sure don't know what to say to someone."
"Yeah, well, you're not exactly someone I'd use my charms on."
"I'm glad, I'm not interested."
"Yeah sure, everyone's interested in me."
"Wow, your ego surely can't get any bigger can it?"
"Yup, and neither can my dick if you know what I mean," he winked.
"Gross. What about "not interested" don't you understand?"
Just as Hunter was going to refute, he was interrupted by a waiter who nicely handed us our food.
"Thank you," I smiled as Hunter mumbled thanks.

When Hunter and I finished our food, we were given the checks. Just as I took my wallet out, Hunter beat me to it and paid for me.
"Thanks," I muttered before I got up and dusted off any crumbs that might've gotten on my lap.
After Hunter got up, we walked to the exit/entrance of the restaurant together. Just as the door opened, we were hit with flashes from several cameras to our left and right.
"Hunter, Aria! What are you doing together?" one of the paps asked.
"Are you two dating?" another asked.
Hunter sighed as he led me to his car. We ignored the questions that were being fired at us and got into his car.
"God, paparazzi is so annoying," he mumbled under his breath.
"Agreed."
"Holy shit, did you just agree with me?" Hunter smirked.
I shook my head but my lips quirked up into a little smile.
