Team RWBY was being carried out of the emerald forest after almost dying from grimm. Yang had broken one of her arms. Blake lost one of her ears and Weiss twisted her ankle. Ruby, however, had it the worst, three broken fingers a shattered kneecap her leg was broken in three places, and Cresent Rose was destroyed by grimm. Ruby saved the three by jumping in front and attempting to activate her silver eyes but failed. Knocking her out and getting Cresent Rose destroyed. Team JNPR was sent to find them after they were 3 hours late. " Anyone care to explain what happened," Ozpin said ticked off. Yang and Blake pointed at Ruby. " She led us astray and into a wild pack of Grimm," The two say in unison. " Were no better if we couldn't think for ourselves," Weiss says. " I see. Team JNPR takes them to the med-bay then return to whatever you guys do," Ozpin said. ' I knew it was a bad idea to put her as a team leader.
---two days later Ruby pov---
Ruby woke up in the Med-bay. ' I should get back to the dorm I hope we weren't in too much trouble for failing. Ruby walked into the dorm to see her team in bandages. " Guys I'm sorry for being a bad leader," Ruby said.
---time skip---
After Blake and Yang were done Yelling at Ruby for her bad leadership skills. Ruby stormed off and ended up behind beacon in the garden. Ruby sat down in the middle and cried. " Ms. Rose, what seems to be the problem?" Ozpin said walking up to Ruby. Ruby just kept crying. " I know what you did to save your team and as heroic as that was it was foolish and left you open. You also lost your weapon at that one of the most deadly weapons in remnant. I'm sorry about this Ms. Rose but you will be expelled from Beacon academy. You are more of a liability than a useful force on the battlefield. As of now, you have 24 hours until you will be forcefully removed from campus." Ozpin said Ruby just cried even more. Something in her broke when she got expelled. Once she stopped crying she went back to her room and grabbed her lien and left a note to her team who was at dinner. Before Ruby left she put on her Mom's old cloak that was white on the outside and red on the inside.

Ruby then left the dorm. ' I guess I could go get a drink but first need a weapon I gotta make money somehow' Ruby thought as she got on the bullhead. Ruby turned around to see Qrow walking down from Ozpins office you waived as the bullhead took off. Once Ruby got out she went to the underground weapon shop she went to she usually just looked at the one-off guns that Signal and Beacon got rid of. Today she would buy one though. Ruby walked in the shop and looked around she saw some interesting attempts to copy Gambel shrowd, Ember Cecelia, And Cresent Rose. They were all awful Ruby knew that it would be terrible if people started mass producing these weapons. Ruby knew why Weiss's weapon wasn't copied because it isn't a one-off. Ruby thought of sneaking into Signal to make a weapon but she lacks lockpicking skills, and it takes at least a week of constant building to craft it. Ruby eventually settled on a Knife that could turn into a revolver and a similar weapon that turned into a machete.

One was named Vulcan and the other was named shark. Ruby set off to Juniors bar to get drunk off her ass and hopefully Yang and Qrow arnt there. Ruby walked in to see Qrow and Yang. 'fuck' Ruby thought but walked to the other side of the bar away from them. " Gimmie your strongest bottle" Ruby said. " Arnt you a little young for alcohol," Junior said. " Do you want me to tip off the cops or not?" Ruby asked. " Ok Ok but you have to pay," Junior pleaded. Ruby nodded. After Ruby had drunk so much that they ran out of the strongest thing they had Ruby just sat there and ordered a glass of milk. Ruby got a tap on her shoulder. " Hey summer why are you drinking all the golden grain?" A drunk Qrow asked. " Qrow that's not summer she died a while ago- wait who has summer's cloak?" YAng said before pulling the hood down to see Ruby drunk as fuck. " R-R-Ruby????" Yang asked. Ruby just nodded Yang went to slap ruby for being a bad leader but all the hit was a blade. Ruby had taken out Shark in its machete form and held it there for yang to impale her hand. " Yang fuck off," Ruby said as yang reels her hand back in pain. Qrow had passed out by now and couldn't help Yang. All of a sudden all the guns in the room were pointed at Ruby. " Freeze," Junior said. " Boo," Ruby said as she threw some lien at junior and used her semblance to get out of there.
