---time skip to festival finals---

Ruby was in the stands watching the finals It was two atlas teams she didn't care about. Once they finished a screen flashed with a red chess piece. Ruby smirked This is where it gets interesting. A nevermore breaks through the barrier and all hell breaks loose. Ruby just sits there in the stands. Eventually, Oobleck and Port show up and start kicking ass. Eventually, they see one person in the stands alone. Oobleck walks up to her. " Ma'am it's not safe in the stadium you should evacuate." Ruby smirks " Professor oobleck I think I'll be fine," Ruby Said before jumping behind Oobleck who was too slow to react. She hit him in the back with the hilt of her Machete. ' You're rusty oobleck," RUby said before running off to Beacon Campus. 

---time skip to cinder showing up---

Cinder had just taken out Ozpin and destroyed the CCT tower. Cinder started laughing. Weiss was currently running up the tower's side. " I WILL STOP YOU" Weiss yelled stabbing the building and screaming sending a wave of ice at Cinder who started emitting flames. " A puny attack like that won't work." CInder said shooting fire at Weiss giving her 3rd-degree burns all over. Weiss screams in pain. Ruby shows up about now to see Cinder about to end Weiss. "NOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Ruby screamed turning the dragon and Cinder to stone. Ruby passes out and almost falls off the building before Weiss catches her. 'Ruby looks so cute' Weiss thinks before running down the side on the building to hide Ruby. Weiss hides Ruby near the Vale Bullhead docks with a note.

You saved me from Cinder and I hope we can meet again soon. Your weapons are all fine except you'll have to catch me to get one of your machete's back.

Weiss but this on top of Ruby's weapons and laid it right next to her as she went back to Beacon. 

---the next day---

Team WPBY was in there dorms when they got a knock. It was Winter. " Winter im so glad you're ok," Weiss said hugging Winter. Once Winter broke free she spoke. " Weiss and Penny you are coming with me back to Atlas. Meet me by my bullhead in an hour," Winter said. After they all said their goodbyes the three left Beacon.

Ruby woke up dizzy. She remembered using her silver eyes. Once Ruby read the letter she got up and holstered her weapons, She set off to find Weiss. Ruby looked up to see Winter's Bullhead and she could see Weiss walking into it. ' Great now I have to go all the way to Atlas.' Ruby thought as she started walking. 

---time skip---

Ruby was walking through the forest when she came across a wooden wall that wrapped around a large camp. Ruby walked around to the gate and saw a few guards. " Who are you and why are you here," one guard said. " Im here to see who runs this place," Ruby said the guards charged at her. Ruby knocked them out beacase she had an idea on who was the chief. " ahh Ruby what brings you to my tribe," Raven said.
