Ash's Inferno

Gluttony

We find our hero landing in a mucky marshland, where souls are devoured as fare as the eye can see. He and James started walking through together.

Ash: I betrayed her. I can't believe I betrayed her, the love of my life!

James: Have you ever even considered the fact that she won't be the only soul you'll save?

Ash: I only need to save Serena, nothing more.

James: We shall see.

The pair approach a cliff. There, a nasty three headed beast is shown gobbling up damned souls within its reach. Its heads are worm-like, protruding from a human-like mouth. Its limbs are like human hands, and on its back appears what looks like a human face.

Ash: Good lord! What is this monstrocity?!?!!?!?

James: Below is Cerberus, the three headed worm. He gobbles up souls who suffer for the crime of greed, who are broken by the rain and the mud this circle consists of.

Ash: And what happens to those souls whom Cerberus eats?

James: They are condemned to suffer eternally inside his belly. That is where you must pass.

Ash: In his belly?!?!!?!?

James: It is the only way.

Ash: Very well. I will destroy this creature if it means I'll save my Serena!

Ash lunges and attacks Cerberus, cutting off his heads one by one. As soon as that's done, he proceeds into the beasts stomach.

Ash: Ugh! What is this place?

James: Cerberus's stomach. You must destroy his heart in order to proceed.

Ash: Ugh!!!!!!

*flashback begins*

We find Ash and several aura knights drinking at a party.

???: Ash, what are you doing?

???: Who made you a priest?

The scene changes to Ash watching his father having a party. He was half naked with women pondering on him. He was gobbling food and drinking wine.

*Flashback ends*

Ash: Gah! That filthy bastard!

James: Who are you talking about?

Ash: My pathetic excuse of a father! That bastard is the most horrid man I've known! He's cruel and abusive!!!!!!!!!!! Why would anyone wanna marry a person like him?!?!!??

James: I see. A flashback?

Ash: Yes. I somehow seem to inherit his ways in spite of how much I hated him.

James: Hmm. A sad fate. Don't worry. Not everything is wrong with your life. You have a lover to save.

Ash: Yes! I will save her, and we will have the life we've always wanted!

James: Good. Then let us proceed!

Ash did just that and some time later he saw what looked like a heart, but it was one he had never seen before.

Ash: By Arceus, what is that?!!?!?!

James: Cerberus' heart! Quickly, destroy it!

Ash does so and the beast is well and truly dead. Blood spewed out and floods allover the place. Ash was sweped Soon Ash find himself in a room surrounded by gluttons eating souls.

Soon, Lucifer himself appears.

Lucifer: Ha ha ha! Like father, like son! You honestly beleive that you are above approach of your sins.

Ash: I took up the Crusade! The bishop assured us that our sins would be absolved!

Lucifer: And you actually believed him? You really think you can trust these false men of the cloth?

Ash: What about the lost souls we killed!?!?!? Where are they?

Lucifer: They thought their cause was holy too.

Ash: Where are they? Why do I not find them damned in the inferno?

Lucifer: Because this isn't their hell Ash, It's yours!

Lucifer shows Ash a memory.

*Flashback begins*

We see Giovanni and Serena eating dinner. Serena was barely eating anything. Giovanni was practically eating like a pig.

Giovanni: Serena, I know you miss my son, but you must keep up your strength!

Serena: I'm not that hungry.

Giovanni: Don't waste tears, my dear. Knowing my son, he's probably already dead.

Serena: What?!?!?! No!

Giovanni: Yes, he does tend to be quite reckless. Who knows, maybe he started a battle he can't possibly win.

Serena: No! Ash would never do that! He is one of the bravest and kindest people I've ever known!

Giovanni: Oh, really? Do you even know what hides behind that mask?

Serena: No! And I don't want to!

Giovanni: Ha ha ha! Still as energetic as ever, Serena. You have not changed!

Ash: No, Serena. What are you doing to yourself?!?!!?

Lucifer: This is only a memory, warrior. Your father's memory.

*Flashback ends*

Lucifer: Your father is here in hell with us. Perhaps you should visit him. *disappears*

Ash: Man, I can't seem to get him out of my mind!

James: Well, you'll get a chance to do so, for good! The fourth circle awaits.

Ash: I'm guessing that's where he resides?

James: Yes. Come. Time is of the essence.

Meanwhile Serena was in a room crying her eyes out.

Serena: Why? Why would Ash do this to me?!?!!? Why?!?!?!?!?!?!

Lucifer: It's part of human nature, my dear.

Serena: No! You corrupted his heart! You changed him.

Lucifer: Really? I changed him? Or did the crusade reveal him for who he truly is.

Serena: No, you're wrong! You influenced him! Man is good!

Lucifer: I think not. I didn't need to influence mankind for millennia, my dear. I merely introduced sin. It is mankind that spread it like a plague. Did you know that Earth is another type of hell, and Man is its demons? Well it is. Sin does not discriminate and exists in any environment. Nothing can change that. Nothing at all. *laughs evily*

The circle of gluttony is no more. Ash has only six remaining circles to conquer. Is Serena OK? What will become of her? Stay tuned to find out!
