She either felt pain or nothing, nothing at all. She didn't know which one was better.

She stared at her blank wall. He stared at her. She wondered if anything was worth it anymore. He wondered if she would ever realize how much she was really worth.
"I wish you could she how truly amazing you are." He said suddenly, breaking the long silence they had been sitting in.
"Please don't. Not today." she whispered, her voice cracking towards the end. "I can't handle this today."
"Okay." he could she her slipping further into her dark hole but he couldn't bring himself to push her right now, not after seeing how broken her face looked today. So he did the next thing he could think of, he hugged her, he hugged her tighter then he ever has. That's all she needed. He was all she needed at the moment.
