chapter 2

Toothless POV

"Crystal is that really u?", I say while stepping closer.

"Yes, yes it is me!", she answers back, I smile happily as I walk towards her.

But before she can even try to walk towards me I hear her whine.

"Crystal are u okay?", I ask worried.

" I got hit by a dragon trappers trap", she answers while licking her left front leg.

I pause and think.

"Hiccup!!! Its another night fury!", Astrid says stepping closer to Crystal but Hiccup stops her.

"We shouldn't go any closer, she looks hurt", he says reaching out his hand for her to sniff it. She steps closer hesitantly and sniffs his hand. She looks at me and I usher her to step closer. She does and puts her snout on his hand as she purrs. She backs away looking at him and then giving him a gummy smile.

"Astrid, I think we just trained another night fury!", he says hugging Astrid and kissing her forehead while she blushes.

Hiccup sees Crystal limping a little and goes to get a closer look. " Well looks like she's hurt, I think we should take her back to Berk to bandage her wound", Hiccup says ushering me to come closer.

"Hey Crystal why don't u come back with me and my rider so we can help you get that leg healed?", I ask. She looks at me then Hiccup. Then nods at me.

"Alright bud", Hiccup says while scratching my chin. I purr and collapse, while Crystal sits there smiling.

"Well if you want to get back to Berk so badly Hiccup, we should leave now so u can bandage her leg", Astrid says while getting on stormfly.

"Alright then let's go", Hiccup says smiling at Astrid. She blushes and looks away. Hiccup gets on and he switches on my tail, while Crystal looks at it curiously.

We descend into the sky with Crystal and stormfly right behind us. Then I get an idea. I start flying really fast and doing, flips, and tricks me and Hiccup used to do when we went off exploring.

"Woah, bud what's gotten into you?", says Hiccup trying to slow me down.

"Hiccup, I think he's trying to show off in front of the other night fury", says Astrid while laughing at me. I frown and see Crystal flying higher and higher.

"Hey Crystal my home is this way," I say trying to get her attention.

"Oh right sorry, toothless I just don't feel really comfortable around people", she says flying next to me.

Then we start seeing Berk in the distance, so I shoot out a plasma blast while, Hiccup pats my head. Then we start seeing people getting closer, I land in town square while being surrounded by Vikings.

"Hiccup!", some of them yell. Then they start surrounding Crystal and she starts getting scared. I let out another plasma blast.

"Hiccup how much do you want for the night fury?", some of them ask.

"Woah, I'm not selling anything", Hiccup says while trying to get the people to calm down. The people start walking away.

"Crystal, it's okay for you to come out now"I say while nudging her snout. She comes hesitantly, but only stays beside me and Hiccup.

"Sorry, about that", Hiccup says while patting Crystal's head. We walk into the forge, finding Gobber working on saddles.

"Hey Gobber", Hiccup says while trying to find something to bandage Crystal's leg. Crystal sits and waits patiently, while I just keep looking for something soft for Crystal to sit on instead of the ground.

"Found it!", Hiccup yells while trying to find some scissors.

He goes up to Crystal and looks at her leg, trying to examine it.

"Hey Astrid, can you find me a wet rag please?", Hiccup asks.

"Sure", she says looking for the wet cloth. She finally finds it and hands it to Hiccup. He rubs it on her wound. He then bandages her leg.

She looks at the wound and then starts jumping up and down. Hiccup gets up and puts the stuff away.

After he's done she jumps on him and licks his face, making me smile.

Well hello all you lovely people who have so far read my book.

I just wanted to say sorryyyyyy for not updating in a while I had lots of tests and 100 point assignments due almost every week in science.
