Georgie Denbrough crept across the hallway to his brother's room. As he padded towards the end of the hallway,he could hear noises. He
cracked open the door and Bill jumped.
His older brother had been drawing at his desk.

"Georgie,it's three in the morning." He said blearily.

"I know. I keep having nightmares about my arm. I'm scared,Billy." Georgie looked on the brink of tears.

Bill closed his sketchbook and picked Georgie up and sat down on the bed with him,the yellow lamplight washing his face in soft light.

"Do you want to sleep here tonight?" Bill asked.

"Yes please." He nodded.

Bill tucked him up and wrapped his arms around Georgie.

"Billy. You are a grown-up now, right? Do you have a girlfriend?"

"No. I don't." Bill carded his hands through Georgie's blond hair.

"Why did Richie say that you were going to get married last weekend?"

"Richie was just being silly. I do have a boyfriend though."

"But you're a boy! You can't have a boyfriend,right?" Georgie looked confused.

"I can actually. I like girls and boys,it's called being bisexual. Why couldn't a boy love another boy?"

Georgie looked confused and then nodded.

"Yes...I think you're right,Billy. So who is your boyfriend?" Georgie smiled.

"It's Stan. Stan's my boyfriend."

Georgie giggled.

"Stan? That's good,I like Stan. He's funny."

"Good. Now,go to sleep."

Georgie woke up when he heard a loud rapping at the window. Beverly Marsh was sitting on the strong patio roof and knocking on the window.
She'd twisted her red hair into two buns and her fringe was smooth and shiny. She had a saffron jumper and jeans on under a Pea coat and her military boot clad feet were swinging back and forth.

When Bill finally opened the window, she gracefully entered the room and saluted Georgie jokingly. Georgie left the room and went downstairs.

"Bill." Her face took on a grave look. "Do you remember the summer of '85?"

"Yeah,why wouldn't I?"

"How did you meet Ben?" She pressed.

"We were fooling around by the sewers." Bill felt like something was missing from the puzzle of that summer though.

"How did Stan get those little scars around his face?"

"It was the cl-" Bill cut himself off and shook his head. "It was a dog."

"No it wasn't. It was It."

"Huh?"

"On my way to my great uncles,my aunt was driving out of Derry and just drove into a post. We're okay but she said that she saw a clown in front of her. I think that It never went back to sleep and has just been waiting for the right moment. I don't fucking care if you remember or not but It tried to take Georgie before and he might come back to finish the job."
