__Xiao Zhan__

Before I went to the class I excused myself to Yibo to go to the toilet.

"Need me accompany you?" He asked,made my face turned even red which already was.

"N-no!" I whispered a scream at him.

"Your face is burning red. Are you sure you are ok?" He asked again.

I touched my face that it was indeed hot.

"No,no... I'm fine. I'm fine!" I stutered and slapped his hand away when it was going to touch my forehead.

He was a little bit startled with my action. I felt bad for doing that. But my nervousness had an urge to do that. I felt nervous since he shoved me with the food just now, that's why I need to calm myself first. I did not know what was wrong with me. Why do I feel this kind of thing? I never experienced it before. My heart... Oh! My heart... The beats like it was in a race.

I stood in front of the mirror for a good minutes.  Only stared at my own reflection on it. Until I saw a glimpse of a familiar person.

" Hey, Xiao Zhan! What are you doing staring at yourself.like that?" Ji Li who just came out of the one of cubicle startled me.

I turned my gaze at him and sighed. Ji Li grinned at me.

"I know you are cute...! You don't need to ensure yourself because I knew it!" Ji Li said, and slung his hand on my shoulder, which I slapped away immediately.

"Wash your hand after using the toilet!" I snapped at him.

He grinned again. Then he turned the faucet on and washed his hands.

"Let's go! We'll be.late for class!" He walked out of the bathroom before me.

I frowned. I took a glance one more time at the mirror before proceeded to leave the bathroom.

I entered the class with Ji Li's hand clung on my shoulder, and the other one held my arm. He talked rubbish and bursted into laugh while I was.only cringed to his lame jokes.

When I passed Yibo's seat which was he took on the middle row,he shots a strange look at me. I didn't understand what kind of look,but it was definitely unpleasant look. I shut my mouth immediately and pressed it tight, then I glanced at him and threw him my sweet smile. But he. ooked away, made me frown.

Ji Li dragged me to take a seat behind, and I just followed him, despite of the miserable feeling inside me. I glued my eyes on Yibo's back while I sit,hopping he would turned around and looked at me, but to not avail. So I tore a piece of paper,made it into a tiny ball and threw it at his back and it was get the target. The one who looked around was the guy sat beside Yibo. I saw him nudged Yibo's arm. Yibo turns to him, and that guy pointed at me. Yibo turned to see me. I smiled and waved at him. He threw me a cold gaze then turned away.

There was a pain sensation pricked in my chest. Why did I feel that? He's only my merely classmate. And his cold attitude was his signature. I didn't care if he showed me that attitude last time. But now, why does my heart feels ache?

"Xiao Zhan!" Ji Li nudged my hand.

"Y-yeah?" I flinched, came back recollect my sense.

"Did you finish with the statistics assignment?" Ji Li asked me.

"Yeah! Of course! We have to report it to the professor tomorrow, right?" I answered.

"Tch! I haven't done it. Can you help me?" Ji Li gushed.

"Li! It's been two weeks ago professor gave us the task. Why haven't you done it?" I retorted.

"You know how my brain is,Xiao Zhan...!" He whines.

"Tch! Ok! After class let's go to the library!" Finally I gave up.

"Yes! You are the best,Xiao Zhan!"  Ji Li jumped happily. Then he hugged me by shoulders.

A shiver ran  up to my nape and spine when I saw a cold gaze watching me. Yibo was looking at me and... Feel disgust?

I immediately pushed Ji Li away from my body. Yibo looked away and turned to look at the front again, where our professor has  just entered the class.

All the classes were over for the day. And Yibo kept avoiding me the whole day and it was killing me. Many times I tried to approach him to apologise about what I did during lunch break, but kept ditching me.

I sighed, and packed my books into my bag. I averted my gaze to Yibo who sat at the front seat. I saw him stands up and about to leave the class.

"U-uh.. Yi...!" I was going to call him,when Ji Li thugged my shirt. I turned to him.

"Let's go to the library! You promised me to help me do the assignment!" Ji Li looked at me with a pleading eyes.

I frowned. And then gushed, before I walked away and.left him.

"Xiao Zhan!" I heard Ji Li cried. But I couldn't care less about it now.

I rushed walk , exited the class. I looked around to find Yibo. There he is! He walked proudly as usual,with the people,mostly girls stared at him and smiles or whispering with their friends, even squealing.

"Yibo!" I shouted.

Yibo stopped. And he turned his neck 90°. But after that he continued to walk. I pouted. Then I quickly stomping to after him.

"Yibo!" I nudged his arm when finally I walked side by side with him.

"What do you want?" He asked, coldly.

"Heyy... Stop being a snob! We are friends, right?" I whined.

"No, we're not," he replied.

I jut out my lips, but then grinned.

"But this afternoon you fed me from your chopstick!" I teased him.

Yibo suddenly stopped walking. He looked at me with a disgust look. I was taken a back. But then I smiled at him sheepishly.

"That was not because we are friends," he said and continued to walk again.

"Hmm... If you did that not because we are friends, then..." I walked slowly beside him, and touched my chin acted as if I was thinking hard of something. Then I looked at him and spoke," You treat me as a lover!"

Suddenly he halted again. He.looked at me furiously, with face turned all red, until his neck and his ears also turned red.

I flinched saw his changing expression. I stood nervously. I smiled sheepishly and dusted off his shoulder.

"Nonsense!" He snorted and left me dumfounded.

"Eh! Yibo! Yibo!" I shouted, called out his name. But he never stop, neither looked back at me.

I pouted, and eventually walked away too, when suddenly a hand grabbed my shoulder.

"Xiao Zhan!" It was Ji Li.

I looked at him, still pouting.

"Why? Did you have a fight again with the Ice Prince?" He asked.

I huffed. And walked slowly with Ji Li's hand clung on my shoulder.

"Let's go to the library! Don't make a face!" Ji Li pulled me away and ran to the.library.

I had no choice. I already promised him to help doing the assignment which has to be reported by tomorrow morning to the professor.
