In Lisa's mind, The Pinks were her family

In Lisa's mind, The Pinks were her family. Despite the fact that they all seemed to hate her, she loved every member equally (and maybe one just a little more than the rest). Lisa thought of Rosé as her role model, even though the leader mocked her daily, and she thought of Ruby Jane as her one and only friend- although she was certain it was only out of pity.

And as for Sooya... she may or may not have had a little crush on her. How couldn't you? She was the definition of the word captivating with a smile that lit up Lisa's world every time she had the luck of seeing it. Unfortunately she was never the one that caused it (that was always Rosé's doing), but she could appreciate another artist's work... right?

However, when it came down to business Sooya was always serious. That was probably the thing Lisa admired most about the girl she had a shameful crush on.

"Where's Ruby Jane?" Joy asked curiously.

It had been ten minutes since Irene had joined the other girls, and Yerim was starting to show signs of waking up soon. They were all bored out of their minds, missing the extravagant, dramatic woman that usually started all the conversations with the latest gossip ("Did you hear about the leader of Bangtan? He was gunned down outside the mall the other day. Everyone thinks it was Triple H. Ironic for a gang named Bangtan,").

Now, all they could do was wait in silence until Yerim finally awoke. But Joy, being the social butterfly she is, just couldn't have that.

Rosé shrugged, "Why would she be here? These kind of things aren't her job." She looked down at her nails, sighing when she'd noticed her middle finger was slightly chipped. Why did she even bother when she was in this line of work?

"Sooya's here and she doesn't do this stuff: she seduces people, not tortures and kills them." Joy shrugged as if merely reading the weather. She'd gotten used to being in The Velvet at this point. Hell, she'd been right by Irene's side when it had first been formed.

"Sooya seduced and knocked out Yeri: she has every right to stay and see what happens to the girl."

Irene smirked wrly, and Rosé scowled at the woman's sly expression, "You sure?" The older woman asked, letting out a breathy chuckle, "Or is it for some other reason? Sometimes I forget your dating rules are much more lax than the ones I've set in place."

Oh yeah, and did Lisa fail to mention that Sooya was taken by none other than Rosé- her boss? A twisted play by the universe, she knows, but what could she do about that wouldn't risk exposing her feelings and putting her in the exact situation Yerim was currently in?

Nothing. That's what.

Sooya frowned at Irene's underhanded comment, and all Rosé could do was scoff and shake her head, "You and I both know that's not the reason she's here. Now shut up and focus on Yerim."

Kang interjected, "What exactly are we meant to be doing with her? Like, what's the point in torture if we're just going to put a bullet through her brains and call it a day-"
