"What do you think of Kurokocchi?" The blonde asked his teammates while the bluette went to retrieve the drinks with the sports-coordinator, (L/N) (Y/N).
'This should be a great time to question while he's gone...' Kise noted and waited patiently for their replies.

"What do you mean, Ki-chan?" Momoi asked, confused to where it was heading, "Tetsu-kun is a really gentlemanly guy who is really kind and cute!"

"This is out of the blue, Kise. Irrelevant to our lunch break what so ever." Midorima commented.

"So sudden, Kise. Are you gay for him or something?" Aomine snorted making the kinpatsu groan in mock agony.

"It's not like that!" He sighed, "Does he sometime have a personality disorder or something?"

The wooden chopsticks Akashi was using snapped into two, "We don't talk about this matter." He stated, lowly and as threatening as he can.

"Huh?" Confused, Kise tilted his head and looked directly towards the captain.

The red head glared, "Talking about this matter is prohibited. End of discussion."

Kise made a small frown, "What were you expecting?" Aomine asked, sturdily, "We just don't like to speak of this matter."

"You guys.." Kise whispered, frowning as he sadly touched his food.

"It's alright, Ki-chan!" Momoi reassured, "It's not like we don't want to tell you, we just don't know ourselves! I-I mean, Tetsu-kun's a nice gentle boy, who occasionally read books or novels in his spare time. Always polite and thoughtful about others and their feelings..." Momoi began to mumble off when a light bulb sparked in Kise's head.

"Momoicchi, do you like Kurokocchi??" He barely whispered, loud enough for the pinkette to hear.

"EH?!" Momoi screeched in embarrassment, accidentally flicking her bentō away from her. The grains of rice smothered Aomine's face in an instant. A bruise forming from the impact from the wooden lunch box.

The dark skinned boy growled and was about to yell out in anger when suddenly the group heard the rooftop door open.

"Did the teach found us out?" Murasakibara muttered slowly, chewing on his food with slight interest on the door.

"Impossible. I fully persuaded the chairman to allow permission for me to use the rooftops whenever I want. I also asked him to keep this matter away from the other students from overhearing from teachers." Akashi stated.

"Which means?" Kise asked, dumbfounded.

"It means the teach should already know of this matter and possibly leave this place alone, to avoid any suspicions." Akashi answered, "Learn to keep up."

Instead of finding the stereotypical outfit of a teacher, they saw (Y/n) coming back, cradling four cans in her arms.
"What happen while we were gone?" She asked, raising a brow before handling the cans to the requested owners.

Out from behind her, Kuroko popped out, with the other four cans in his arms, doing the same as she.

She carefully gave Midorima's red bean can which he had kept in the cooking class fridge to have the same cold consistency of the ones he brought from the nearby convenient store.
He smiled slightly, reaching and taking it out of her hands before acting like he didn't care.

Kise couldn't help but turn to look at Kuroko's face. Maybe he was doing the same emotion as when he tried to get close to (Y/n). But to his surprise, Kuroko stayed the same, he wore the same stoic mask and dull eyes.

'B-but how is this possible? Midorimacchi showed her a smile, a smile for kami-sama sake!' Kise mentally cried, pulling out his hair in his mind.

"Kise-Kun." She interrupted, sliding a cold can onto the blonde cheek.
He squirmed and shrieked before regaining his composure and looking up to the female, "Not funny, (l/n)-cchi!" He pouted before hearing a melodic laughter from the girl.

Kuroko looked from the corners of his eyes, he was not amuse. Wasn't the warning enough for this idiot to understand? No one gets in his way and no one will ever will.

Kise whimpered slightly from the cold glare that he received, but merely put on an act just to keep suspicion away from (Y/n).

"Are you okay? Did you catch a cold? You look paler than before.." She muttered to the frantic looking blonde.
He waved her off, restlessly, "Ah, no I don't have--"

Before he could finish, gently placed her forehead onto his, "WAH! (Y/n)-- I mean (l/n)-cchi!"
"..Your temperature seems alright..."

"KiseGay looks so red!" Aomine laughed, resting his arm on Kuroko's shoulders. Kuroko kept a monotonous face, before feigning a smile. Deep inside, Kuroko didn't actually hate the blonde, he didn't hurt him physically or mentally. The only thing he did was step into his pathway of his ideal relation.

A person like the bluette, feared losing his beloved to such a newcomer, to such a person who had every aspects he didn't. He wouldn't want to accept that, he didn't need to accept that. Then why would he need to accept the fact? Is Kise better than him?

No, that's just a lie, this is his story, his life. He was the protagonist, along side (y/n), and the rest were all supporting cast members. If one of them was gone, then someone would replaced them..but this wasn't a game nor a movie.

If they were gone, they were gone, so if he removed Kise from his life...

Kuroko smirked,
'He'll be gone forever.'
