I wasn't looking forward to tonight at all for many reasons. For one Alpha Liam isn't going to be there, and me as his best friend, beta and second in command had to go along with two of his deltas, Adam and Ryder to have dinner with a Alpha Chase, a Alpha nobody respects nor fear for and is a disappointment to our kind. We had to be on our best behavior because we were were representing the pack. As we pulled up to Chase's house, I reminded the guys to put on their game face and no matter what keep cool.

As I knocked on the door and a minute later, I was greeted by a pretty nice voice. "I'm Indrid nice to meet you". "I'm Alex and these are Adam and Ryder" I introduced
"Well, come in" he steps aside and allows us to come in. "Where's your Alpha Liam" she asked "He had an emergency so he couldn't make it" I said " I hope he's okay she said genuinely.

Soon I was greeted by a fake high pitched voice, " Nice to finally meet you Alpha Liam" says with a fake smile while hugging the life out of me and I almost choke on her cheap smelling perfume. "Are you okay" she asked, me trying to be on my best behavior said yes and that I just needed air .

"I am not Alpha Liam he had an emergency so he couldn't make it but we will be reporting back to him what happens tonight." You could see the shock and embarrassment on her face but quickly brushes off. "Would you care for something to drink Indrid here is our servant and be more than happy to get it for you

"Amber isn't it" "
Yes" she smiled with her head held high
"Your the Luna of this pack correct so why is it that the Alpha's sister is doing your work and duties as Luna'' I smirked

"Alpha's orders Of course, I already offered but she enjoyed doing it already " she trusted to reassure me with one of her disgustingly fake smiles.

To make matters worse, Chase comes making a entrance with his beta and two of his deltas. His pack doesn't look like a REAL pack, but instead a group of spoiled rich kids from Beverly Hill. "Welcome" Chase says Where is your Alpha?" He asked
He had an emergency ,so we are your guest for tonight "

As we followed Amber and Chase to the dinner room the aroma off pork chop captured or noises."Something smells like heaven" I said, soon Indrid came out with best meal me and my friends seen in a while. Our mouth watered looking at the pork chop with creamed corn with bacon bits on top.

''Hold on '', our attention was now on Chase who was tightly gripping on Indrid wrist."What is it?'' she asked nervously ''

"What is this?" he asked angrily, I told you to make a feast not some Whatever this is " he growled at her. "I'm sorry but this what I got with the money you gave me" she said with a look of horror and embarrassment.

Now I had promised Liam that we'd be on our best behavior, we would have Chase on the ground beating the shit out of him for the way he treats his sister. We would need to go through the Alpha first before we do anything like that, boy I can't wait to tell Liam about this, I'm sure he would be pissed.

"We lovvvve pork chop " I began
"Don't we guys "I asked

"Hell yeah" they both said in unison

"Your Luna cooks it for you?'' Amber asked
"No, Alpha Liam hasn't found his mate yet" I told her

"Indrid hasn't found her mate either, not that she ever will, I mean look at her she is fat and ugly "

Although Indrid was in the kitchen making dessert, I'm sure she heard what Amber had said

After having the best tasting meal with the worst company on earth. I excused myself to the bathroom but actually to look for Indrid's room to leave with her a invite to the ball and a little piece of paper with my name and number on it.
