I know that it was shitty of me not to have shown up at dinner, although I didn't want to be there. I never meant to send Alex Adam and Ryder to endure that horrible dinner without me there.

Though last night I had gotten a call from one of my deltas that was doing his rounds around the perimeter of our territory, he said he caught a few trespassers trying to cross our line .

So I sent Alex and them to go and check out Chase and his pack, although none of us wanted to go, but my parents said that I should show them that I am not entirely ruthless as they think. That I can be a great leader once they retire, and that I should have the ability to hear people out. I guess they were right.

But I did not trust this man since the day I met him along with my parents, he rubbed me the wrong way and was very disrespectful to my parents and we got into it that day.

I knew better than to question or argue with my parents, so I just going along with it. Well, somewhat, considering I am not even going to the dinner, that is supposed to be the beginning of forming an ally.

However right now, I had more important matters to attend to. I needed to find out what was going on and why all of a sudden our territory went from impossible to everyone has a chance.

"What's going on " I asked the delta
"Sorry for ruining your plans Alpha, but we have a problem. Last night we caught three rouges trespassers onto our territory. We don't know what happened. I asked the guys that were on duty in this area and they don't have any idea either.

"What is it ? What else aren't you telling me?" I asked him

"There's something odd about these rouges. They had a marking on them, almost like they were branded and we haven't seen them before" he tells me.

"What's the mark?" I asked curiously
"It's a red eclipse ''he says and immediately I know what that represents.
" Oh my gosh, are you sure?" I asked him
"Yeah why?" He asked

"I'll tell you about it later but right now , I need you to put more guys to surround the entire perimeter and if others return, at least keep one of them alive so I can question them." I tell him.

"Alright" he says knowing better than to ask questions

While heading back to inform my parents of the issue we have, I mind-linked with Alex to let him and the guys needed to return immediately.

This wasn't good, we haven't seen these marking in centuries. These were the marking of rouges. Rouges are those who don't have any Alpha and fail to live by rules or rules. The rouges were the most dangerous that ever existed. They almost caused a war with every species including humans.

They're timing couldn't have been any worse, with the annual ball my parents have been hosting for the past twenty years coming up in a few days.

This annual event called the The Full Moon Ball, has been the biggest and the most exclusive event since the first year they hosted it

To make new alliances with packs and some have been lucky enough to have found their mate there. As for me I have not been so lucky in that department at all.

I first shifted when I was 16, I thought I would have found my mate already. I think that the Moon Goddess decided that it would be best if I didn't have a mate. With the temper I have, I don't blame her at all.

As I entered the pack house, I saw my mom going over the plans with the party planner.
"Mom I need to speak with you dad, we have a problem'' I said

"What's the matter son?" my dad asked
I told him the whole story about the rouges and red eclipse marking when I finished, they were shocked and worried
''Are you sure?" My mom asked
"My delta said he saw the marking on them" I told her

"Please tell me your going to do something about this" my dad asked
"Of course I have tripped the guards protecting the perimeter and told them to report to me if anything happens" I reassured him.

Good I don't think that we should tell this to anyone until we are completely sure about it

I don't want this to cause a huge war cause if it did, I don't anyone would be prepared including me.
