*Just a quick correction to anyone who read before my edit. On the first chapter I meant that they would be taking their Psychology Final not their midterm. Sorry for the mistake (-.-;)

Enjoy and thanks for the read!

Everything happens for a reason, my mom's typical reply for every stupid situation that's happened in my life, drifts through my head as I hold the shot glass and look at my line of friends stretching on my sides.

"Shots! Shots! Shots! Shots!" The crowd around us chants. In a domino effect Justin, Samir, Iris, Jenny, Carter, Megan, and I, along with two other dudes whose names I can't remember, throw our heads back for the... I've-lost-count shot number of the night—Day??

Sometimes that reason is that you're freaking stupid and make bad decisions. But since I'm supposed to see the glass half full, here's how a trip to the hospital may have gotten me some digits.

"Wooooooooo-hoooo!" Carter yells next to me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders as we laugh.

"That was fucking sick! Did you see that?" One of the guys whose name I can't remember says to Megan on our right as they watch someone go full out McJagger on the dance floor. Him and his friend were two short guys, drunk out of their minds, who merged with our group when we moved to the bar for birthday shots. They immediately took a liking to Megan and Carter. Something that wasn't exactly unusual as people often thought they were just your average party couple. And maybe it was the fact that Megan's been hanging out with us since fourth grade, and us three were too comfortable with each other, but people always assumed her and Carter were together.

I mean, they weren't exactly wrong but not quite right...

Their party-hungry energy was definitely a magnet whenever we were out. So, I was used to them being crowded by people wanting to dance and buy them drinks.

Carter's arm pulls me closer as he yells into my ear over the music, "Did your brain and mouth coordination remember how to function this time?" I turn away from Megan and club-dude-one to Carter with a tsk.

"Of course!" I shrug with confidence at his sweaty, disheveled appearance from the hours that had gone by us down this rabbit hole of a club. "I did something stupid again," I yell back in his ear with my shameful British accent, and Carter throws his head back in laughter.

With a smile on his face, his voice takes on a mocking version of my accent and says, "Did you reeeally?"

"I'm fucking worthless I know," we laugh and my eyes momentarily lock with Iris' grinning face. He's huddled between Jenny, Samir and Justin next to us. His eyes quickly shift between Carter and I but he looks away before I can read the look on his face.

"Just remember," Carter yells back snapping my attention, "No matter how worthless you feel your organs are still worth hella' money on the black market," I snort, playfully shoving him a little.

"Yeah, cause that's definitely the kinda' motivation I wanna' hear while I'm pissed drunk at a club," So I say, but if there's one thing college has taught us is we could go on a three day drinking spree before blacking the fuck out.

"Gotta' have a plan C in case this med school bullshit doesn't work out for us," he shrugs.

    I frown, "Wait, what's plan B?"

"Well, you're already a hoe so I can't pimp you out."

"Bish, look who's talking" I laugh and I can't believe I still fall for his shit.
