~Yatakami POV~
One night I woke up from sobs coming from above my coral plantation where I slept almost everyday. I got up to check, and found a younger mermaid with short, sea foam blue hair. She sobbed again and she curled up on a sea sponge. She had a grey tail with black tiger stripes going down the middle. The fins of her tail were torn and bloody. The poor thing was shivering from being so scared.
"Are you okay, sweety? You seem hurt..."
The young one nodded. Her eyes were dark cyan with slits. Normal for this color of tail.
"Riiiight. Come with me, I won't hurt you. We're going to the healer to get you cleaned. I'll take care of you."
"O-okay...." The child stuttered out "I'll be g-good, m-miss."
I questioned the last sentence but before we knew it, we were near the Healer's den. It was decorated with corals and sea weed.
"Right. We're here."
