It's been a week since my day with Zae. I've been in a good mood honestly. He calls and checks on me every day and I appreciate that. I haven't had someone that liked me before do that. I was now sitting in of Money at the prison. I wasn't on any mess today. I just genuinely wanted to see how he was doing.

"What are you doing here? I told you not to come back to this place."

"I wanted to check up on you. I'm not on any bullshit today. I mean look around this is the family visiting room. What can we possibly do in here?"

"Knowing you." He trailed off laughing.

"I'm not that wild, Money."

"Okay, anyway what's been going with you? Got anyone special in life?"

"Why do you ask that?"

"First, you come in here smiling. You never smile, Luna. Second, you have this glow. You look good."

I shook my head. "Thank you, but it's nothing."

"When did we start lying to each other?"

"Well, I've been talking to this guy." I shrugged.

"It's a real thing?" I nodded. "He's treating you good?"

"Yes."

"Then enjoy yourself. Yo ass always uptight, so maybe a relationship is what you need."

"Don't even try to play me like that. I'm not."

"Whatever makes you sleep well at night." He laughed. "You holding up well though?"

"Yes, what about you?"

"I think about Carlos every day. This certain guilt weighs down on me because if I wasn't in here, things would've been different."

"It's not your fault."

"Doesn't feel that way. On the bright side, I might be getting out sooner on good behavior."

"That's great. Do you need any money on your books?"

"Nah, I got someone taking care of that?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Who?"

"Don't worry about that."

"Money." I sighed. "I don't want things between us to be awkward. I want things to go back normal before you had sex. We are both grown and have to move on in our lives. So, a new woman?"

"Her name is Draya."

"Is she cute?"
