-A few years ago-

"Re-re, Ma-chan, hurry up!! Before anyone sees us!!" You dragged your best friends Jinguji Ren and Hijirikawa Masato out the gigantic ballroom and to the gardens outside the mansion.

The three of you were currently at a business party. Many elite families were invited including the (L/N) family, Jinguji family, and Hijirikawa family

"W-wait up, (F/N)" the two of them said in chorus. You let go of their hands and ran ahead towards the river. When you got there, you hurriedly removed your heels and stood barefoot on the cold grass

"Waahh, it feels better here~~" You felt a gush of cold wind hit you from behind removing some of the hairpins in your hair making it wavy. You tucked a few strands behind your ear and looked at the sparkling river in front of you which was reflecting the bright light of the full moon. (Media. I'm sorry if it doesn't look like you and if I don't know how to make a river all sparkly xD)

You felt the feeling of sleepiness on your whole form so you lied down on the grass without a care

"(F/N)-chan, you're going to ruin your dress like that" Ren finally caught up with you and behind him was Masato walking normally without increasing his pace.

"I don't like it in there. It's too boring..." You closed your eyes and relaxed as the cold wind brushed passed your whole form

"You have a point..." You heard Masato say this and felt him lie down to your left. Ren did the same as well but this time, to your right.

A few minutes have passed and the only things the three of you could hear are the sounds of the shallow currents of the river and the crickets on top of the trees. (am I right? I mean, idfk where crickets live. I just... Hear them..) aside from that, everything was in silence. Not the awkward type but the relaxing type. Your eyes were still closed but you were never asleep.

Ren stood up, removed his shoes, and folded the bottom part of his pants so that it didn't cover the lower half of his legs. Masato did the same. And yeah, your eyes are still closed. Keep it like that. Ren smirked at Masato and they both went to the river and dipped inside. The scooped up some of the cold water and splashed it on you at the same time

"Gyaah!!" You immediately shot up with your mouth wide open. You saw the two culprits in front of you and flashed them a devilish grin "okay then." You stood up and ran to the river, jumping inside and splashing the both of them at the same time. And your last game together was ended with the three of you splashing the others with cold refreshing water, not caring about what you'd look like in the end

You smiled as you remembered the thought while walking down the halls of Saotome Gakuen. It was lunch time and you were going to the canteen (what do you call it..) to buy some food. You were looking down while smiling and remembering more of the moments you had before with your Re-re and Ma-chan. As you looked back to where you were walking, your eyes unintentionally closed shut as you bumped into something and stepped back.

You held your forehead and jumped "ow ow ow ow ow ow..." You looked in front of you to see who you bumped into. You saw a guy with orange hair reaching his shoulders and the first few buttons on the top of his polo unbuttoned. His tie was also tied loosely and so, the top part of his chest could be seen. He was holding his chin and you realized that you were a lot shorter than him, since you only reached his chin. You snapped back to reality and bowed at the person in front of you "Gomenasai!"
