Kai, time to start~!

Lacie's POV

"Uwaahh, I'm sooo hungryyyy" Reiji moaned as he kept rubbing his rumbling tummy. I smiled as we all- except Ren and Masato because they were assigned to cook breakfast today- headed off to the dining area "It was your fault for missing dinner yesterday." Ai stated with no emotion.

"Rei-chaaan, you were dreaming about food you knoww??? It made Tokiya and I hungry too!" Otoya fake cried which was followed by his and Tokiya's rumbling tummy.

"The sound of you talking about food reached my room too, baka!" Ranmaru growled at him while storming to the dining area. I walked alongside them, internally agreeing with Ranmaru while Reiji just rubbed the back of his head

We all sat down to eat the food prepared by the two and I was seated between Ai (left) and Ren (right). I'm always seated beside Ai since I'm still his underling which still made me happy since I kinda have this crush on him

So, the seating arrangement was like...

Masato - Ren - me - Ai - Reiji - Camus

Syo - Natsuki - Otoya - Toki - Cecil- Ran

All of us were eating peacefully until the usual trigger showed up.

"Ehh?? Syo-chan mitte kore!! You're as cute as this~!" He held up an octopus shaped hotdog and started saying "kawaiiiiii~~~" at it.

A vein in Syo's forehead popped "Natsuki!!" He growled and the two started chasing each other

In their ruckus, Syo accidentally tipped my chair to the right and guess who I fell onto

"R-Ren...!" He caught me and I was leaning on his chest. He smirked and smiled at me "ah, Koneko-chan, if you wanted me this bad then you could've just said so" he winked at me and I blushed madly in return

Ai suddenly stood up and slammed his hands on the table. I jumped and looked at him with wide eyes. He looked at me before sighing "I'm leaving. This makes me sick. Next time you're around me, don't make me want to puke up the contents of my stomach because of this idiocy" After he finished, he stormed away, slamming the door on his way

I felt lost. I sickened him? Now it's absolutely official. There's no way he'll ever like me. I felt myself about to cry and so I stood up and excused myself.

"Lacie? Are you alright?" Reiji asked. I smiled and nodded. "I am. I just feel a little tired" "You know Ai-Ai is always like that so don't feel downed by it" Reiji tried to comfort me but it didn't really work so I just went outside

I went to the swing set and sighed. I hate this...

A few hours later, I heard shouting at the other side of the building. I ran to that side and saw Syo and Ranmaru yelling profanities at each other so I tried to get them to stop.

"Syo! Ranmaru! Cut it out!" I yelled. As they charged at each other I grabbed onto Syo's sleeve, accidentally tripping and we both went tumbling onto the ground. Ranmaru just started laughing, basically because Syo landed on his face.

"I'm really sorry, Syo!" I exclaimed. I helped him up and checked his face. I felt around for broken bones but he looked fine I guess.

"Thank god..." I heaved a sigh of relief. "Nothing seems broken. I'm glad. I'm sorry I did that." He chuckled and waved it off. "Naw. It's my fault that I didn't listen to you. It's okay."
