Bakugo

I get home and mum was swimming around the cave, "where the hell have you been?" she yells when she sees me, "I was out on a swim," I sigh, "don't scare me like that! you could have at least given us the heads up!" she screeches, "well, I'm not dead so everything's fine," I sigh and swim to my room. "Mitsuki, he is a growing boy, just let him do his thing," I hear dad say to mum,  "Masaru, I was worried! Just earlier today he was out and got injured by a Syren! A Syren! Who came to the Reef! Why can't those monsters just be killed by the guards so we don't have to hide in the shallows?" Mum says to dad, "Mitsuki! Calm down! You shouldn't say stuff like that. It's just the same to them, if we hurt them, they will come after us. Just as we would go after them if they hurt us. The only difference between us is the tail, and possibly the diet," dad explains calming mum down, "you're right, I'm sorry about my childish reaction," mum sighs and then silence. I look at the walls of my cave, it's boring. Plain. I lay on my bed of seagrass and close my eyes, thinking about the Syren, Kirishima.

In the morning mum drags me to the castle, I see Ochaco waving to me, I smile and wave back. "You like her don't ya?" Mum teases, "no," I simply answer. "Hey Katsuki," Ochaco smiles, "Hey," I mumble, "you wanna go out for a swim?" she asks, "I guess," I say looking at mum, who smiles sheepishly, "it's not like that hag!" I growl and swim off after Ochaco. "where do you want to go?" Ochako asks one we get outside of the main town, "I don't know,"  I say as I look around, "also we're being followed," "what?" Ochaco says and looks behind us and sighs, "a guard," she sighs angrily, "did father send you after us?" she asks the guard, "he did my lady," he says bowing his head, "well I don't want you around," she huffs, "forgive me but that is not your choice to make. The King asked me to watch over you every time you leave the castle, so that means right now," the guard says, I sigh and swim ahead, Ochaco following close behind me. We swim behind a rock and I pull myself close to the sand and flar out my tail and stay still, Ochaco catches my drift and does the same, only her tail isn't as wide as mine so she hides her body behind my tail as well. "Princess?" I hear the guard call, "where the hell did they go?" he says and swims past, I smirk and swim away from the rock in the opposite direction to where the guard went, Ochaco right behind me. when we finally stop swimming Ochaco starts laughing, I smile and start laughing as well, "you are a genius Katsuki," Ochaco says between breaths, "I have just always wanted to try that," I say as I look back the way we came, "you're a genius!" Ochaco says again, "nah, just testing if the guard is an idiot or not," I smile, "well it must have been convincing," Ochaco says, "mine sure, but yours? no way. Your tail is too obvious, mine kind of looks like a Sea Fan," I say as I do a flip and fan out my tail, "true," she says looking at her two separate tail fins, "how do you put on your fin loops?" she asks as she presses my tail fins together, "I'm not royal, I don't wear any," I say prying my tail from her grasp, "really? I always thought everyone wore them," Ochaco says looking at the rings around the base of her fins, "also these!" she says as she pulls up my hip fins, "they're so big!" she says, "stop!" I say as she lifts them up, "they look like fur!" she says happily, "well it's not," I say watching her swim around me.  "I like you Katsuki, I mean, like, not enough to want to become your mate, but I like you as a friend," Ochaco says looking at me with her big, beady, brown eyes, "well, unless you gt in with Deku, you will have to marry me and be my mate," I sigh crossing my arms, "well how do I even approach him?" she asks, "I'll help," I smirk and start swimming towards town.

I get to the Midoriya's cave and knock outside, "Katsuki!" Inko, Deku's mother, says smiling when she sees me, "it has been too long!" she smiles, "yeah, um, is De-, I mean. Is Izuku here?" I ask, "yeah, Izuku! Katsuki is here to see you!" Inko calls and Deku comes swimming down from his room, "Kacchan?" he asks, "just come here," I growl and swim off, Deku follows, "the Princess has a crush on you," I say looking at Deku's freckled face, "she what?" he asks, his face glowing red, "the Princess is in love with you!" I shout into his face, "are you just pulling my fins or are you serious?" Deku says, "would I joke about this? I don't want to marry her so mark her as yours and therefore you will have to become her man instead of me!" I growl, "wait he was meaning she's going to marry you? and you two will become a mated pair??" Deku shouts, "yes!" I shout back, "but you know how I feel about her...." Deku says softly, "listen, nerd, I know you love her. I am trying to get out of this situation! I need you to mark her, don't like mate, because the king will get pissed, just mark her and ask her to do the same to you, and my problem will be fixed," I say, "Kacchan, why do you care?" Deku says looking at me with his deep green eyes, "because you're my friend," I say scoffing, "ok!" Deku says, his cheeks a new shade of red, he hugs me before swimming off to look for Ochaco. I smile and watch as he swims off, "what the fuck is wrong with me!" I shout and slap my face.

Kirishima

I wake up to the sunlight in my eyes, I look around and see a school of fish, I lick my lips and swim towards them, but to my surprise, they don't avoid me, "do Mer not eat you?" I say as I watch the fish swim around me, they start leaving kisses across my body, I giggle and watch as they move around a kiss different parts of my body, "so you guys are the cleaners!" I say before I notice a Tiger shark eating a school of these little cleaner fish. I decide I'm going to introduce myself. I swim over to it and it bites at me, I avoid its jaws and poke its nose and keep it at arms length away, "why are you eating the little friendly fish?" I ask it, and of course, it doesn't answer so I hit it and it gets angry and starts thrashing around to catch a nibble on me, I just avoid it and tease it until I get bored. Then I kill and eat it. I swim around a bit my stomach full of shark and I see a large Manta ray and I decide to swim around it, I swim with it for a while before deciding to head back to where Katsuki told me to stay. I see him slowly approaching and so I just slid back into the small crevice and look at him, "so you stayed," he said softly, "did you expect me to leave?" I ask, "I didn't expect you to come back with a bunch of fish," he says, I look and see a school of fish, "they just showed up," I say, "it's fine, you just went out and ate right?" Katsuki says, "yeah," I say softly, "those guys follow blood," he says as he swims up to them and points to me, they all come towards me, "and they clean it up," Katsuki adds, "nice," I smile and swim out of the small crevice and into the open and the fish surround me I giggle as the fish tickle me. I look at Katsuki and he was smiling, "Hey, um, is your tail okay?" I ask as I point to where Mina bit him, "yeah, I'm fine, it doesn't bother me," I sigh, "I'm sorry," I say, "what for?" he asks, "I should have stopped her instead of following after the girl, I should have protected you," I say, "wait, you were there?" he asks, "yeah, it was my version of a 'coming of age' thing. Mina, Sero and I were meant to kill you and the girl and bring your heads to the Cheif, but I stopped Mina from chasing you, and I pointed the chick in the right direction to your town, because I didn't want to hurt you or her," I sigh, "you planned it? you purposely ambushed us?" Katsuki questions, "well I didn't, it was everyone else's idea. I didn't want to," I say, knowing he's getting angry, "so why are you here? Right now? What is your purpose for being in Mer territory?" Katuki growls, "the Cheif said I had to bring him the head of a Mer and I'll be allowed back into my tribe," I say softly, "so you're going to kill me? And here I was thinking you weren't that bad, for a killing machine," Katuski hisses, "I'm not gonna hurt anyone!" I shout, "lier!" he shouts back at me, "your kind does nothing except hurt us! We never did anything to you, and you make it a fucking coming of age tactic to bring one of our fucking heads to your boss? That is way over fucked up!" 

I just listen to him scream at me for everything my kind has done, not just to him, but the rest of his people as well. When he finally finishes I look up at his red face, "I was the one who looked after you two years ago," I say, "what?" he shouts angrily, "I looked after you during your coming of age! I didn't hurt you, did I? Every time you were with me, your guard was down. If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you by now. I can't really remember what happened there, but I know you. I know how soft you really are," I swim up to him, his cheeks pink, "and I loved you, and I know you feel it too, that longing, I feel like maybe we," "don't say it," Katuki interrupts, "but?" I question, "I don't need to hear it," Katuki says, his ears pressed down to the bottom of his face, "Katsuki," I say softly, he shivers and looks at me, his crimson eyes looking to my red, "I know why I don't love the princess now," he says softly, "the girl?" I question, he nods, "its because you and I mated two years ago."
